Cujo, could you check if these Pirates players are in the game? They don’t appear to be on the Pirates roster, could you check in free agents or do a player search? Thanks man.

This is my last year buying MLB The Show. If I hadn't pre ordered already, I might have decided to not buy it this year if I had seen this rosters first.

This just tells me they just don't care or take the time to basic thing in baseball: rosters.

Why they would change Felipe Vasquez player model to a generic one? What happened to Kang? He was in the game before, so its was an easy thing just to bring back his old player model.

I am sure San Diego Studios could find volunteers to go through the roster before release just to check on these things to try to have the most accurate rosters.

Agree, they make it rough for the carryover franchise people. I looked at Felipe in the youtube roster of the Pirates and then a photo of him and he looks the same though. Kang's face is really hard to make and the CAPS never do much justice compared to the scanned faces.

Ya I notice Felipe Vazquez has a generic face in 19. So weird because he had a really good face scan in 18. I’ll be creating an updated Kang with correct service time and stats.

only looked at the Rays roster, but jesus, they are rough. About half the 90 win major league team is rated worse than a bunch of rando's they've auto created. The fielding ratings and power look particularly odd, things like Austin Meadows being a 40 grade right fielder with low 40's power for example. They rely far to heavily on metrics for these I think, you end up with some very strange ratings

It's going to take a lot of editing of these rosters before I start a franchise

Very good possibility. The discs have been probably printed for almost 2 weeks. They said in the last stream that they had a day one update that would put the rosters at like Tuesday of last week. I believe the exact wording was something of along the lines of " We are trying to get the rosters as close to opening day in real life as we can. They should be accurate as of like 2 days ago" The stream was on a Thursday so that would lead me to believe that would put the day one roster update at probably an accuracy date of the 18th or 19th.

Or you could all just keep calling the Dev's lazy and that they don't care and just being basically rude and insulting. Whichever course you decide, I personally am going to play the game and enjoy it. I don't wait for rosters or sliders. While you all are still complaining about every little thing you are outraged over, I'll be a month in and having fun.

Yes, I think so (I'm terrible at telling tbh but they do look more like them than I think you could manually make). Ji-Man looks good, asians without face scans usually look awful, shame his ratings don't do him justice!

Here's the link to the Rays roster video, there are some slightly out there ratings, including just about every pitcher we have having 99 break and Meadows having about 25 points lower fielding that Nelson Cruz.

Don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait til Tuesday... I will play the **** out of this game... Just frustrated that players are missing that shouldn’t be.
