Wow, was not expecting this. I feel like this only Rangers specific, I couldnt get it work with any teams besides Texas.

SDS is really making us uniform aficionados proud

I'm so thrilled over this. I was grinning ear to ear last night. I feel very guilty for raking the devs over the coals during this dev cycle. While the live streams were underwhelming, its obvious that so much love and care went into this game. A step up in nearly every aspect.

As a matter of fact, SDS went above and beyond this year with STL because unless I missed something last night, they’re the only team to have ALTERNATE hats in the game that aren’t tied to a uniform set. They finally got it right. Well done guys!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this last night! I can't even remember how many years ago this started being requested and I just assumed it wouldn't ever be possible. Awesome that they found away to get it done!

The Yankees hat logo in this game has always bothered me. They finally got it correct in 18, but then it's reverted to how it's been in every game before in 19.

They really need to put in the Orioles 90’s-00’s uniforms. Those were gorgeous and the classic, realistic bird on the hat was a key look for the team. Was jarring to see the Ripken moment done in the wrong era uniforms. I’m like it happened a little while ago, but I remember this well and it was still pretty modern looking.

There’s such a big difference between 70’s-80’s and 90’s-00’s aesthetics in baseball. And this game needs more of the latter to capture and entire era and generation of baseball.

Gotta tip my "not tied to a uniform set" cap to SDS, they really did a great job on the uniforms. The Brewers uniform colors look a lot better than last year.

I second this. As cool as it is, the Ripken moment just felt like it was rushed out. Hope to see 80's-90's SF Giants uniforms next year as well.

D-Backs are the other team. They have the secondary home cap as an extra.

Reds too. Black top/red brim cap from the late ‘90s - early 2000s. It’s probably in there because they’re wearing a million throwbacks this year so they threw in a cap.

It's great that uniform issues in the past have been corrected (Cardinals and Rangers specifically), but the lack of love the Jays' got is irrating. The white panel hat is still not there, yet player cards show players in that hat.

Also, I'm pretty sure they messed up their belt too. It's black when it should be blue.

I know it's just nitpicking, but it's annoying that SDS adds in throwback uniforms, and neglects the actual uniforms of the teams

Shocked no one has posted this amazing new feature that we have suggested in the past...

Team Color 3 looks to be white but it's actually the color of the selected pants. Why? This allows those who edit gear and accessories to have home and road versions of the gear. So if u selected team color 3 on the guys cleats he will have white cleats at home and gray on the road. Many players do this on their cleats and batting gloves especially. This is huge for those who love editing gear realistically.

The only team this doesn't work for is Arizona who legitimately have a 3rd team color that they felt needed to stay in that spot. There are minor variances for some teams but generally Team Color 3 is now the option to easily alternate between home and road edits.

Also, Stars and Stripes caps this year are all throwback logos for each team.

HUGE! I was confused why team color 3 was white for so many teams but it makes sense now.

Also, I don't believe it was me but I know I saw somewhere on this forum someone suggesting this exact feature to be implemented in order to easier edit home/road equipment.

As for the Stars and Stripes caps, I'm guessing uniforms haven't been announced for 4th of July weekend but it's gonna be a throwback weekend! I can only assume it's related to this being the 150th anniversary of the Majors. Love it!
