RP Nate Jones & SP Jordan Stephens to CLE for 1B Bobby Bradley
1B Yonder Alonso to San Diego for OF Travis Jankowski
OF Tavis Jankowski to BOS for IF Marco Hernandez

      Are these trades realistic?

Also what would i need to give up to acquire Keon Broxton from the Mets

I don't really see any reason why the Padre's would want Alonso, unless Hosmer is hurt tbh.

not sure if cleveland needs another starter though it doesn't hurt, Yonder is not likely, idk about the third.

Keon has roughly a $90m value for me which is one 55FV and 50FV player.

            1. Jones is such a weird case. He is technically -$2.5 million in surplus, but the White Sox nor I would treat him as much. Lower end talent like a lottery ticket or two would land him. Stephens is the White Sox #29 prospect. Bobby Bradley is the Indians #7 prospect. I wouldn't sign off on this one.

            2. Uncertain why the Padres would do this? They do not need a 1B.

            3. With how much Travis is owed and having four years of control he is very valuable to the Padres. Marco is worth about $200 million less...so another no-go. Travis is very valuable and Hernandez not much at all.

            4. Keon I have ~$92 million. So it would take quite a bit to land him

@Buccosback or anyone can you doublecheck Travis Jankowsi's value? His seems high, but I understand it. Just want a doublecheck.

Interesting. Travis is a lot lower on yours and Hernandez a lot higher. Those sound better to me though.

Addison Russell - I have him around $40 million in surplus (42ish). He has a lot of value, he has 3 years remaining and thus year he is cheap. Just his off the field actions probably subtract quite a bit, I would even say half off his value at $20 million. That can land you a top 75-100 prospect and a lotto ticket hypothetically. Now just need to find him a home...

Ben Zobrist - I have Ben at around $10 million in surplus as he is in his walk year and making $12 million. Solid player, could lander a bottom end 105-110 prospect range and a lotto ticket.

                        Interesting.

With Russell's WAR not sure how he is that high for you.

Taking his previous three seasons: 2, 2.4, 4.1 with the 6,3,1 average. It comes out to 23.3 which is 2.3% multiply that by $9 (million per WAR) and that comes out to 20.7. Then take that and multiply by the amount of years he has remaining, 3, and 62.1. Final step is subtracting his contract which you can subtract the 3 million from this season and I figure his raises through Arbitration to get the final down to $41.7 million in surplus. I heavily do not believe he is worth over $100 million in surplus especially with his off-field actions.

Same math and everything for Ben. But he is easier since he is in a contract year.

I posted my calculator. I kinda had an outline and added the age factor and stuff. spent a lot of time fiddling with. maybe i should add an off the field incident factor LMAO

Haha, for sure. I'm going to always use the one we made here together, but definitely like hearing your calculator results because sometimes they're close and other times not so much!
