They fixed the little division standings pop up when you are idle! It showed the AL East followed by the AL Central

one little thing I noticed is sometimes the game will ask you if you like to pinch hit first if it is getting late in the game. rather then pinch hitting a player when he already came out to bat which made it more realistic. It doesn't do it enough though, perhaps they need a schedule to pinch hit option like they do with pitching.

It’s always been a pet peeve of mine that you cannot make substitutions until the batter is up or your team takes the field. Imagine how that would look in real life!

Not sure if this is a little thing but under pitching there is a new pitch delay option for you to set if you want the CPU to be faster than normal between throws. It's great for me because I don't want to waste time I could be spending hitting dingers

I noticed that as well. In my carryover franchise they added a bunch of prospects to the FA pool. Ranging from A-D, 18-29 yrs. old. Pretty cool.

Not sure if this was in past iterations but I saw a bat fly out of a hitters hands on a swing and he reacted by putting both hands on his head as if saying to himself, “Oh, my God!”

The emphasis on contact hitting is nice. I had an at bat last night with DJ LeMahieu where I fouled off 3 or 4 garbage pitches to stay alive. I had a runner on second with no outs and was trying to hit the ball the other way so he could move to third on an out. I was finally able to make decent enough contact to hit a weak grounder to second moving the runner to third. He would score on another groundout and that gave me a 3-1 lead.

                            Noticed that as well.

Time to release some old farts and replace them with prospects..

I threw a curveball in the dirt for a strikeout last night. Chirinos lost sight of the ball. He got up looking for it. By the time he found it the runner was safe at first. It was nice to see. I never noticed that animation in any previous versions.
