Is quick manage broken for everyone else too? After I Quick Manage a game it takes me to a screen where no buttons will work including the touch button.

This is frustrating because for my franchise I like to quick manage a lot or do player lock. I hate just straight simming..

Any idea or update from SDS on this?
I quick manage frequently and have not had this issue

        Well this is dissapointing.

After signing Nelson Cruz, Cj Cron, Jonathan Schoop and Marwin Gonzalez in addition to extending Max Kepler and Jorge Polanco this off-season. The Minnesota Twins had high hopes of opening their window of contention in 2019. Unfortunatly the Twins are 1-8 to start the season. Defense has been sloppy and pitching has been less than stellar, but the real issue is our bats. In 9 games only once have we scored more than 2 runs (A 9-8 loss in Philly) and only Jonathan Schoop seems to be seeing the ball decently well (.296 with 1HR and 3 RBI). No major changes are on the horizon, but if we remain in the cellar this team will go into fire sale mode. Anything not nailed down will be gone including the coaching staff.

What a fantastic way to start Farnchise mode 2019 [emoji1]

We are through the month of April and sitting at 14-16 in 4th place behind LA, Colarodo and SD. Ketel Marte had an 18 game hitting streaked snapped in New York. He also leads the majors in triples with 3 this early season. Greinke is struggling to earn wins but hasn't been awful, just unlucky. Robbie Ray is 7th in the NL in K's with 42 and can do no wrong.
We signed international star Tetsuto Yamada hoping he becomes our everyday 2rd basemen.

Dont know much about Arizona but want to compete within 3 seasons. Looking to move Greinke soon but other than that suggestions are more than welcome.

MLB the Show 19 - Baltimore Orioles Franchise

            June 14, 2019

The Orioles secure their second series win, first series sweep, and first 3-game winning streak of the season in a mid-week home series against the Jays. Apparently the disaster in Houston last week was enough to spark a wake-up call, as (at least for this week) we finally look like a major league team. Dylan Bundy came off the IL to scatter 8 hits and 2 runs in 6+ to nail down his second win of the season in a game in which Jonathan Villar went 4-for-4 and DJ Stewart clubbed his team-leading 10th homer of the season.

O’s #12 Prospect Dillon Tate exceeded all expectations in his MLB debut turning in one of the club’s best starts of the season. He looked like a 10-year vet in his debut, working around 2 errors in the 6th to get Vlad Jr. to ground into an inning-ending double play with the bases loaded and keep the shutout intact. He’d return to work a 1-2-3 inning in the 7th, then with one out in the 8th finally surrendered his first run on a solo shot from Jays SS Freddy Galvis. He’d exit after the HR at 91 pitches to a rousing standing ovation from the roughly 18,000 fans in attendance. Final line: 7.1 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 5 K. Kimbrel would come on to record his 10th save in the 9th. His redemption is a work in progress, though he pitched 2 scoreless innings with 4 K’s in the series so he’s getting there.

We finish the homestand with 3 against the Red Sox then immediately jet to the west coast for 3 in Oakland and 4 in Seattle. I’m under no illusions that the Jays series will be some sort of miraculous turning point for us, as we’re stil 19-51. Just hoping the guys who are playing well can build on this momentum and continue to be productive and prove they belong for next year and beyond.

We lose LHP Sean Gilmartin, as he was claimed off waivers by the Rays. OF Anthony Santander will return from the IL in time to meet us in Seattle. If noone gets hurt between now and then, we’ll have a fully healthy roster for the first time since early April.

Jonathan Villar is our strongest candidate for an all-star appearance. After his outburst against the Jays he is batting .297 with 6 HR, 21 RBI, and a league-leading 37 SB. He trails Altuve and Merrifield in voting, but it would be his first time in the midsummer classic if he could make the team as a reserve.

Started my Pirates franchise today with Full Minors rosters. Plan on playing all 162 on default legend just like countryboy.

We started the season with a 7-6 win over the Reds.

Taillon had a decent Opening day start, giving up 4 ER in 6 innings. We went into the 9th with a 7-4 lead and Vasquez gave up 2 before getting the final out with the tying run on 2nd.

We had 12 hits, while the Reds had 13. The Reds committed 4 errors.

                  All Star Break - 2019

                  MLB Standings
                  Spoiler

Starting to fall back of the .500 mark. It would help if were somewhat competent against the rest of the division. We continue to have too many 5+ game losing streaks and havent had any long win streaks to counter them recently.

                  Stats
                  Spoiler

Whit has struggled a bit getting on base recently. But has started to hit for more power as the season has gone on. Mondesi meanwhile has really taken a big step. I thought he could hit close to .300. But thought his OBP would be a lot lower than it is now. Would like to see a few more HR after he had 14 in 75 games last year but everything else has improved greatly. If only we could find an outfielder that was close to average. Soler has been pretty streaky. Phillips came up swinging for the fences but misses a lot. Bubba not really doing anything well and Jorge Bonifaciocant stay healthy. Erick Mejia has been a nice surprise in limited action so far. Went 3-4 with a HR, 2 Doubles and 4 RBI in his Major League debut. And has a hit in 10 of his 11 games so far. Cam Gallagher recently went on the IL with a Torn Finger Ligament.

On the pitching side we have been moving starters in and out trying to find something that works. Brad Keller was optioned to AAA after a disastrous first half. He had a 6.86 ERA in 13 starts and 11 games out of the pen Eric Skoglund coming off of his suspension took his spot. Jesse Hahn was released after putting up a 6.03 ERA in 7 games with Foster Griffin taking his spot on the roster. Skoglund has made 1 start so far with Griffin yet to make his debut. Duffy, Junis and Lively at the top of the rotation has been pretty good so far. Combining to put up a 3.45 ERA in 237.2 IP.

Bullpen has probably been the best part of the team so far (wish it was IRL). McCarthy leading the way with his 2.02 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. Zimmer and Lovelady recently moved to the Closer and Setup roles after Diekman has struggled a bit.

                  Spoiler

Not sure what im gonna do about trades. Not like we have many options anyway. Duffy could be on the move if he does well his next couple starts. I don't really want to trade Whit but he could bring in the best package. With just over 70 games left in the season here is how we will line up coming out of the break.

                  Spoiler

Gordon and Bonifacio will both come off the IL here in the next few days. Bubba Starling will probably go down and Chris Owings could be released. Not sure yet.

I would probably look to deal Peralta if you plan on going into rebuild until the 3rd season. I believe his contract expires this year and coming off of a career year he will probably be looking for relatively big money but at 31 years old won't be too big a part of your team's future. He should net a pretty solid return for ya.

Well the Cubs 2024 season ended with a whimper as we were swept out of the Divisional round by the Mets. To make matters worse, we then seen this Mets team go on to lose to the Cross Town Rival White Sox in the World Series. In the end, we lost our last 5 games of 2024.

On the positive side, we did win our 10th straight Central crown and when 92-70 is your worst record in 10 years you really are living a charmed baseball life

This was a GM contract year for me. I really hate that I started my franchise on 14 and didn't have the option to turn GM contracts off...It now appears that I will basically be forced to win a WS every contract to keep my job....this appears to be the case because I simmed ahead past 4 years and while i met every seasonal goal an my worst season was 85-77 in the simulation they did not offer me a contract. This stinks because that would have meant I still won 5 WS in 14 years. I guess mark me down as someone that would preferred to be the owner and be able to rebuild when I want. That being said, I am happy that my budget ballooned to over 225+ Million and I will now try to "Big-Boy" the rest of the league and just try to go pure historic type dynasty.

After sweeping the Giants, disaster strikes for the 7-3 Rays. Blake Snell finally looks to be getting into the groove, throwing 6 innings of 1 hit baseball against the White Sox, only for a fractured wrist has put him out for 2-3 months.

For a team with only really 3 starting pitchers, losing the Cy Young winning ace for that long is a real hammer blow after such a promising start to the season. With top pitching prospect Brent Honeywell still a couple of months away from return from Tommy John surgery, the Rays were already considering getting in another starter to solidify their rotation, but now that quest must surely be sped up if they want to remain competitive in the months Snell will be out.

In the short term, Jake Faria will move from long relief to the rotation, while Jalen Beeks will be promoted to help out in the bullpen. Any way you look at it though, 3 months without Snell will really strain the Rays playoff challenge.

The 2022 White Sox are through June already 30 games above .500.

The Sox continue to be led by the pitching, leading the league in ERA (2.87), runs allowed (235) but are 6th in Homers allowed (77).

Omar Salgado leads the AL in wins with 12 and ERA at a 1.68.

Michael Kopech is tied for second in wins at 10.

Rookie Kevin DiBiase is fourth in ERA at 2.56.

Offensively were are 2nd in MLB in Average (.287), 7th in runs scored (365), and tied for 23rd in homers (71).

We have four batters in the top six in the AL in average. Charlie Tilson leads with .360, Eloy Jimenez second with a .357, Luis Urias fifth at .320 and Jose Abreu sixth at .319.

The draft was a pretty good one for us.

In the first round we selected 20 year old, 68 overall, 90 potential RF Javier Estrada who is pretty much all offense so he will most likely end up to being a future DH for us.

Second pick was another A potential player that fell to us in 21 year old, 51 overall, 91 potential 1B Fernando Villarreal.

Third pick was another RF in 22 year old Alejandro Manuel at 62 overall and a 79 potential.

Fourth pick was a 21 year old SP in Brandon Warren at 53 overall with a 73 potential.

Fifth pick was 22 Year old LF Beau Armstrong 75 overall and a 76 potential.

Sixth and final pick was another SP in 23 year old Thomas Young at 54 overall and 73 potential

The Pirates currently sit at 12-8 after a series sweep against the Giants but remain 4 back of the Reds

                            Reds
                            Brewers 1.5GB
                            Pirates 4GB
                            Cubs 5.5GB
                            Cardinals 6.5GB

8-2 in the last 10 games. Rotation has been very solid and the bullpen has been completely lights out. I had a 17 inning showdown with the tigers that did include two blown saves and Richard Rodriguez going 3.2 innings and throwing over 50 pitches. Marte has been on fire going from batting .128 to .244.

Bell leads the team with 6 homers and Cervelli is behind him at 4. Jason martin has 8 major league at bats and is batting .500 with 1HR 2RBI. Shortstop is still a major concern as Erik Gonzalez is batting .161 and Newman is batting .187 so around late June/Early July will look to either call-up Cole Tucker or for outside help if things don't improve.

Been a while since updating (and sadly playing)

We swept the Braves in our 3 game series in Atlanta. During the sweep Carlos Martinez improved to 4-0 on the season. In game 2 of the series, we dominated the Braves to the tune of 21-6...which felt amazing!

Next up is an off day then a 6 game home stand as we host the Giants for the weekend and then the Rockies Tuesday thru Thursday next week before making a West coast trip.

We are in the midst of having a decision to make with Adam Cimber coming off the IL. We need to make a spot for him in the pen and our choices are either move Kiekhefer to the minors and subject him to waivers, or move Burdi (already cleared waivers this period) who is pitching great or Jordan Hicks (has option left) who is also pitching well.

                              Decisions...decisions.

We have recall Matt Carpenter from Memphis. Yairo Munoz was optioned down to make room on the 25 man roster.

I started out by using the opening day roster and simmed up until yesterday’s date.

I’m going to be playing 1 or 2 then simming 4 or 5. I want to consistently use new starting pitching without playing every game. I would love to play every game but i know i would burn myself out.

Through April 23rd we are 11-11. Freddie Freeman is hitting over .375, Markakis has been hitting over .300 and Johan Camargo has been hitting .350 in a platoon role (I’ll come back to this)
McCann has been impressive hitting .270 with a few RBIs.
Inciarte has struggled a lot, dansby Swanson has been struggling also. And Ozzie has been hitting about .220 in the leadoff spot. Donaldson is hitting the ball hard but not finding many holes, they’ll be soon to fall.

As far as pitching goes, we’ve seen a little bit of everything.
Max Fried gave up 13 runs in 3.2 innings of work against the Mets (simmed) earlier in the year. He then left the same game with a leg injury. He’s back and we managed to get his era to a slim 13.75 now.
                                Teheran is 2-1 with a 3.35 era.
Newcomb has struggled posting 0-3 with a 6.75 era- we may be sending him down like in real life.
Kevin Gausman has been excellent, 3-0, 2.90 era.
Foltynewicz is working on his rehab, he should be back very soon.

Lastly, the state of our roster. With Johan Camargo starting off hot as can be, he’s proved he has earned more playing time. However, it’s tough because there’s only so many spots on the field. And a decision has been made. Unless Ender Inciarte starts to playing a lot better, like a complete 180, he will be getting dealt. The plan is to let Acuña patrol in Center, and having Camargo play left. His defense/speed isn’t near what Enders is, but I can’t allow a struggling bat to plague our lineup. Now this plan won’t go into effect until June/July, I’ve been researching some trades and I think i will deal Inciarte and Luiz Gohara for a pitcher that we can add to our rotation that will be an Ace, or a player that would give a huge offensive boost. However the only position that we would likely need to heavily improve is probably catcher. But if McCann continues to hit, him and Flowers can keep platooning. As far as Gohara, i have plenty of young depth behind him and to be honest, I don’t know if he’ll pan out like he’s projected to.

I will keep you guys updated on what happens next!

Also, I’m hoping to post more in depth stats, game recaps, etc.

Inciarte has been killing me too. And of course the bullpen just like in real life. Thinking about piecing together a similar package. Don’t want to rush Pache up though
