I’m not going to lie I scrolled past this and thought to myself “unlockable audio? Sounds stupid”

Guess I should of looked into it more because that sounds really cool!

I paid $60+ for this game and couldn't care less about packs, stubs, or any of that online stuff. These shouldn't be "unlockable", they should just be included.

I TOTALLY AGREE 100%. I guess it's just something else that urges you to strive for in playing the game.

Now THIS is an awesome and fun addition. Way better idea than bat skins. I am having a blast going through and customizing what my stadium sounds like. Dinosaur Roar every time I strike someone out? Yes please LOL

Unlockable/purchasable...it doesn't matter.

Either way I'm glad and excited that they are in the game.

Looking forward to them being expanded upon going forward.

You received for your 60+ dollars what they included in the game. To get these other things, you have to do something else. That's just the way it is and they way they chose to offer those files to people.

I paid over 50K for my wife's car. She wanted a compact disc player. I had to pay another 300 dollars because that car, that model, that year doesn't come with a CD player. Did i think that was nuts? Of course. Did I understand the car I was buying her did not come with a CD player and paying extra for one was how she'd get it? Absolutely.

I understand your frustration and the lack of desire to have to do online things but I also fail to understand why your 60+ dollars entitles you to more than the game they intended to sell. As Countryboy alluded to, it wasn't like this was a feature advertised deceptively; he stumbled onto this. You got the product they intended to provide for your 60+ dollars.

They are indeed UNLOCKABLE...I have a few now, and have not had to pay anything extra for them. If you unlock them by "purchasing" you are doing that with stubs, which are simply earned by playing the Show, in any mode. I do not play online whatsover, and I earn TONS of stubs simply playing in Franchise mode. You can than use stubs to purchase these unlockable sounds. It's a pretty simple, and free system. It's not much different than unlocking any of the hundreds of other unlockables in countless other video games. Lots of 'loot' in RPG, FPS and adventure style games has to be unlocked, simply by playing. It's no big deal.

Country boy, I read where you you said they can be used in franchise which is awesome news. Can you buy them and add them to multiple stadiums to hear when you play against that team or can they only be used with your team and your stadium?

Are police/fire engine sirens, commercial jet flyovers, etc available too? I'd like to hear some good classic baseball-themed songs like "Centerfield" by John Fogerty or "The Boys are Back in Town" by Thin Lizzie be played in the stadium between innings too. Like you said, it'll be interesting to see what they release going forward.

My understanding is that they follow your team to whichever stadium your playing in. I was playing a Spring Training game at Shippert Stadium and heard my homerun call via Matty V.

There are noises/sounds available as well. I don't recall sirens or jet flyovers, but there are things like explosion noise, cash register, womp womp womp, etc...

Press the touchpad to access the quick menu. Select MY INVENTORY. Then select MY UNLOCKABLES. There you will find all the unlockables within MLB 19. Scroll over to access STADIUM SOUNDS, NO DOUBT HOMERUN CALLS, AND HOME RUN CALLS. Press X on the one you want to "buy" (with stubs of course) and select VIEW IN MARKET. It will bring up a screen showing the cost (again in stubs) to buy it now. If you have enough stubs to purchase, press X, then select BUY/SELL OPTIONS and you can buy.

I wish Uecker's "Get up, Get Outta Here, Gone!!" was one of them but at least Matty V does say it in game. Its just not that often and only at Miller Park.

Thanks, I wasnt sure if there was another way other than buying them. But Stubs are easy to come by so no big deal.
