Franchise Unlockables..Sounds

Has anyone else looked into this? This is cool.

Some of the audio unlockables are for homeruns and no doubt homeruns. And the audio unlockables are the phrases used by our favorite announcers such as:

"you can put it on the board.....yes!"

"just like the ex-girlfriend who ain't coming back..that ball is gone!"

"just late be great"

Amongst others.

I had no idea that this was what Audio/Sounds unlockables was going to entail but I like it. Can't wait to snag a few of these.

Okay yeah these are a lot better than I expected. Actual sounds you want to unlock. Awesome you can preview all before even unlocking them.

You buy them with stubs.

I don't know if they are part of packs.

I bought two thus far.

I have unlocked two with packs and bought two with stubs. I have them set on high rather than override. I’m enjoying the no doubt home runs ones so far.

I think that “override” means the sound will play 100% of the time, while high is 75%, medium (or whatever the next is) is 50%, etc etc.

I wish there was one for a big strike out, even if it was just “Heeee struck em out!” Or “He got em!”

Yes I'm really hoping they expand upon this. This is a terrific idea/addition.

I'd like to see Strikeouts and wins.

Would love to hear Harry Carey's "Cubs win! Cubs Win! Cubs win!"

So many possibilities.

This is actually what I wanted SOTS to be. I have a bunch of Hawk Harrelson calls (I know, I know) that I would love to play instead of the music or announcing. As of now, it competes for the same air space and does not sound good.

Most definitely. I think the original design included Walk offs, SOs, and Final Outs but they had to do a subset to start with. I will pass on your enthusiasm and suggestions for the feature.

I also got at least one HR call unlocked in my initial pack set. And I think there is a Sounds pack that I can earn on the XP path.


As a Cardinals fan I just want the "Go Crazy" HR call. Thank you Jack Buck for the call and Ozzie Smith for hitting the HR

Granted it is not actually jack buck making the call in the game but I will still take it.


Oh and if you go into my inventory and the sounds, I believe you can preview them all.

I paid $60+ for this game and couldn't care less about packs, stubs, or any of that online stuff. These shouldn't be "unlockable", they should just be included.
