Franchise:

- Pick-offs - Many times runners are held in place, even when you hit the button to return. Many times runners get called out even when they are safe on pickoffs..........especially at 2B. I've been getting picked off 2nd a ton in this game and I don't even take a big lead AND this is with really fast runners that should have no problem getting back. The game keeps "freezing" these runners or it will call them out even when they are not.

- Game does not pitch-out (ever) after 2 ball counts. Game rarely (if ever) pitches out on 2 strike counts. Makes it very easy to manipulate the CPU with steals.

- Hitting is all over the place this year. I have many games where I score 10 plus runs and many, many games that are 0 runs and the CPU simply will not
reward........well..........anything. It's feels like a time suck when this happens and it happens WAY too much. It seems to matter not who the opposing pitcher is as even mediocre pitchers often dominate - (hall of fame level on pitching/hitting)

- the pitchers get way too many hits in this game especially in big situations. Haven't noticed this recently, but noticed it a lot in the months prior.

- the CPU rarely if ever makes any errors. Almost every game they won't make any errors at all, and I will have wild pitches and an error or two or no errors.

- the CPU seems exceptionally hard to strike out this year at times. Great pitchers often don't get the numbers they should on a consistent basis.

I don't have any of these issues... As for pitchouts, I defintitely have seen pitch outs when I have 2 strikes on me. I don't know how frequently in real life you would see a pitchout with 2 balls (MAYBE 2-2). Risk vs reward is just not worth it.

A lot of your issues could probably be adjusted with sliders. I definitely get frustrated when I have perfect timing on a hanging curve ball and my guy hits a chopper to SS, but that is baseball Ray.

Hello everybody, I am new here. I have a doubt, why everytime I play in PLAY NOW MODE using the live rosters the commentators say the exact same things about the two teams and why are there so many errors with the stats of the teams and players? Its really annoying

Two for the price of one anyone experience this?
I was playing against the Yankees they brought in Babe Ruth as a relief pitcher.
Which ment I couldn't bring hin in as a DH next half inning.
When the Yankees were at bat The Babe was still available for DH.
I put him in and after that I got 2 batters.
Funny stuff.
Please fix it so Babe Ruth can start in rightfield for the Yankees.

I haven't kept up with this thread all this year so I will ask... has anyone reported the bat going through everything glitch in franchise... after a player strikes out?

also can we please fix the cut scene wherein the dugout you see two phones and one is the size of a car, please (the one on the right... both phones white)

1. I wouldn't use the live rosters that the game provides, I would download a good roster from the vault. There is a roster section of these forums with some good info on options to choose from.



2. I don't know much about the commentary on play now, I wouldn't think they would say the exact same thing every single time, but in general they can be somewhat repetitive.



3. As far as errors in stats could you be more specific as to what you are seeing?

I'm not sure about anyone else, but for me Brain Anderson of the Marlins has a pair of sunglasses floating in the air behind his ***. I thought it was a one time thing, but it's not.

In Play Now the announcers always say that one of the teams is currently having the MLBs longest winning streak.

I use the live rosters for PN to keep up with what's going on IRL, but that glitch is annoying.

I guess the people at SCEA never play a PN game using the live rosters.

Anytime I join a game in progress from quick manage mode, the announcers say the batter is a “double away from the cycle,” when they are not in fact.

Yeah I can't even play my RTTS. Played through my double season was an 88 for the trash Royals. I was invited to spring training and killed it and was offered a bench role. I took it thinking I'd beat out Ohearn quickly. However when I clicked sim next appearance, it kept on simming. All the way to the end of the season yet when i looked at box scores and results it said my guy had been starting every game. If though I never actually played. I still hit .328 with 42 and 118 and win rookie of the year and silver slugger. Went through playoffs. And off season was offered another bench role again I took it.again
Played through spring training again. And click sim to next appearance once more and again it keeps simming even tho.my.guy is playing. Again doing well and now sent down to triple a. Game is completely unplayable atm. Tried flying a report for support but that was months ago and I never heard back. I feel like a snuck for wasted 100 dollars on a special editgame I can't even play. I've tried new rtts and it does the same

Well my starting pitcher in RTTS just pitched 7 innings, allowed 3 hits and 0 runs. Got MVP, but wasn't awarded the win. Instead it was awarded to a relief pitcher who came in and pitched .1 innings. This makes no sense whatsover and pretty much breaks the game since stats are being awarded to the wrong players.

Depending on the score around the time your starter was taken out and the relief was brought in that relief pitcher could get the win.
