Fielding is BAD
I mean little league bad. What is the deal? I had an 84 rated fielder make 2 errors that both cost me runs. Ridiculous.Tags: None -

Re: Fielding is BAD
It happens. You might play rest of year and that same player will never make an error again.
IDK if what you described makes fielding in the game bad.Comment

Re: Fielding is BAD
Just a small example. My team averages 2-3 errors a game on DD. And they are gold players. Including easy drops in the OF. and routine grounders that are booted.Comment

Re: Fielding is BAD
I always do auto fielding and everything has been flawless as far as realism goes.
Cannot comment on manual fielding and of angles or anything causes more errors.
If not opposed, I’d try auto, it’s really a fun experience which might seem odd but I’d never go back to manual.Comment

Re: Fielding is BAD
Fielding is a bit skewed towards being mistake prone on manual fielding. One thing I am noticing are my outfielders even really good ones are almost always taking a bad step forward on balls that are hit over their head. It's happening about 4-5 times a game at this point. I get if it keeps happening to bad fielders playing out of position but we are talking about guys that are 60 or aboveComment

Re: Fielding is BAD
Just gotta beg to differ. I feel like fielding this year is the best it’s been in a long time, maybe ever. The animations and bridging are pretty damn good.
Once in a while, something a little wonky has happened. But overall I think it’s on point. And you can definitely feel when you have an elite defensive player in the game.Comment
