Re: MLB 20 Stadium Accuracy / Feedback Thread

During the Giants' FanFest on Saturday, some people noticed that in addition to removing the in-play bullpens, the team also removed a few rows of seating from each foul line. According to Kevin Cunningham of McCovey Chronicles, these will be turned into luxury areas. I'm sure it's probably too late to get this into the game (as far as I know, the Giants haven't released renderings of those publicly), but I thought I would post it here anyway.

Also, I'm really hoping they make a small adjustment to the new Giants video board by making the team's secondary color on it orange rather than grey. I know this is an extremely minute detail, but there's been some odd stuff going on with the Giants video board for awhile in this game. In 2017 it had the correct color scheme for the Giants, but for some reason the orange became grey in 2018. In last year's game, the board's secondary color was grey in most modes, but orange in Moments which was pretty odd. Hoping they get this small detail correct and keep it right.

Also, in today's "What's New in MLB The Show 20" video, I noticed that the Oakland Coliseum still had its tarps. It's possible that that is from an older build, though, as Oracle still had the old video board layout, not the new one which as present in last week's streams.

I am hoping that they add the new (last year) artificial turf to Chase Field, along with the scoreboard, which is now two years outdated. They could also add the Wild Card A in left field from 2017......They also changed some luxury boxes in right field into a bar/patio in 2019.

I'd like to see the waterfall at now Truist Park turned off during the game and have the geyser feature during homers.

Some good news for us Citizens Bank Park lovers

I just noticed in a new video that SDS finally updated the right field upper deck LED scoreboard and it now looks like the one used in the real 2019 season.

Of course watch just our luck the Phillies will change it again for the upcoming 2020 season lol

That pitcher LED board is still wrong though and has been for years.

I am still hoping even this new video is from a much early build and in the final game more things will be updated!

Great find! Now if they can only fix the hardest part of the stadium. The DIRT! I go to Philly a lot and the dirt is not gray. I don't understand why this cant be fixed.

Good catch. Hopefully the main scoreboard got the matching changes too.

So far, I've seen changes to scoreboards in:
                  Atlanta
Chicago (both Cubs and White Sox)
                  Kansas City
                  Milwaukee
                  Minnesota
                  Philadelphia
                  Pittsburgh
                  San Francisco

If they got Arizona, Cincinnati, and Oakland in too, that'll complete the list of scoreboards I included in the feedback I emailed to them, which would be pretty cool. Not claiming credit for any of it (obviously we've got guys from all over putting feedback out here) it's just nice to see when our feedback makes it in.

Now if we can just get this Phillies dirt color fixed up...

                  ---

Rockies' 2007 NL champions pennant made it in too.

Re: MLB 20 Stadium Accuracy / Feedback Thread

One thing I did just noticed though for some reason it looks like the updated right field LED board only shows the current batter "Black" color and 2 due up batters "Red" color when it should be showing current batter and the next 3 due up batters.

                    See my screenshots for examples

The only thing I can think of is it has to be done this way because the LED board uses the Shows "Due up" info which as you may know only shows the current batter and the next 2 batters.

Personally I always thought the "due up" overlay should show the next 3 batters instead of the current batter and then the next 2 batters. I mean why is it showing the current batter if I am looking at the due up overlay? lol

At the very least it should show the current batter and the next 3 batters.

But at the end of the day even though it may still not be 100% accurate at least it is now much closer to the real right field led board

And before anyone says come on man stop being so picky let me just say I admit i am a big perfectionist!!! lol

I would really like to know though why it can't be 100% identical?

I mean I am sure the artist was looking at the real led board while creating it for MLB The Show 20 right?

I'm sure the Liberty Bell has been ignored once again even after the countless photos I have sent in over the years. SDS even has a Phillies fan working on the dev team, but I imagine he gets no opinion on it because like Ramone once said, "Nobody cares about the Phillies."

I don't think SDS is purposely not updating Citizens Bank Park because they have it out for the Phillies.
