Is anyone else experiencing button delay even in offline modes
It happens periodically throughout games even in offline modes like franchise. Every so often my swing inputs won't initiate until a second after I hit X. It happens when pitching sometimes to. To be fair sometimes it doesn't happen at all. Usually only lasts a few seconds and then goes back to normal. Is anyone else experiencing this? Brand new controller and old controller it's happening to both.Tags: None -

How old is your controller? Also does any little kids use it, son/little brother? They can wear out after a few years. -

Nobody is using my controllers but me. One controller or 2 weeks old, and back up controller is about 4 months old and it's happening to bothComment

I feel like the menus are delayed, but I think that is just the new design of them. Last years felt "snappier" for some reason. Not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.
During gameplay, I dont feel any delay or lag. I was playing remote play yesterday on my PC, and obviously there was some delay because of the remote play, but even that wasn't bad enough to hinder my playing.
Try using pulse pitching to test, I always use pulse and I remember last year there was some delay for me but it seemed to come and go. Not sure if its wireless interference from other devices or what, but I dont have that issue this year.Comment

Never! That sounds horrendous. It would always be residing in the back of my mind like a periodically dripping faucet late at night.
It always seems to be the first suggestion these days, though I doubt this is it... but try and rebuild the database on your PS4.
I'd recommend turning on Game Mode and such on your TV, but since it's intermittent I assume you already have done this and/or it's unrelated.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Is anyone else experiencing button delay even in offline modes
In another thread someone mentioned something about resetting your controller itself. I am not experiencing the issue you are but may be worth a shot.Funkycorm

Re: Is anyone else experiencing button delay even in offline modes
I have this issue sometimes, specifically pitching and i believe its when I hit X. I assumed that it was just my old controller.
Hasnt happened to me when I’m hitting.
