Yeah no doubt man, that was killing me. I noticed it was happening a lot with guys who have a two handed swing but a one handed HR follow through. Watching them carrying that bat to first base was brutal

For anyone that was troubled by late swings/contact, they mentioned in the stream that they tuned that in this patch.

Also working on next patch but no further information was given.

Quick question for anyone willing to check

Is the face swapping/skintone issue happening still? Sometimes when you make a defensive sub, the incoming player will have his body/skintone, but will have the head/face/skintone of the player he's replacing.

Picture example below:

This bug still exists, but I narrowed it down to it only occurring when you make a defensive sub thru the quick menu (press up on D-Pad during gameplay). If you pause and go through the manager options, then the bug doesn't happen.

Not sure why it happens one way and not the other, but glad to know that I can workaround it.

Thanks for messing around with to find a work around. I was thinking earlier some of us Vets around here should put together a list of work arounds for the new folks. Like the all cpu generated player pics, play the first game to avoid the home run bug and such.

Same here. At least give us the option to have it back the old way. Completely throws off the way I proceed each at bat. Why was it even changed in the first place?

I'm a cusual user, so use Classic. After this patch, I'm playing with the pitch speed down(Slider). With default slider setting, I can't react to 99mph fastball...

I started using guess pitch this year because of the pitch speeds. However, I use quadrant so I still have to decipher where the pitch is and if it's in the zone. If they really did this I will be dissapointed as I will never be able to get a hit

same here now the indicator appears after the pitch which throws off everything. we need to keep making this known so they can put it back to the way it was. now there really is no real use for guess pitch until the put it back pre patch.

I don't see why they don't just have 2 options for MtO:

1) Play for DD rewards...difficulty is locked in (or can be reduced in-mode - basically how it is now) and default rosters must be used.

2) Play for fun...any rosters/difficulty can be used, but you forfeit any chance at earning post-World Series win rewards.

Not to state the obvious, but you do understand why. They cannot get people to be involved with DD without including it in most every part of the game. The hope would be to have someone that had no interest in DD get a reward and become intrigued or hooked on the chase of other rewards.

I’m not even being disgruntled about it, but all the sports games do this now. They want your money via micro transactions and they can’t get you into that without involvement in the front end, backend, and nearly every menu or thing you do making you see something pop up for it. It’s not even subliminal anymore. It’s right in our faces, unfortunately.
