Nothing I can do in Broadcast mode to keep the game from grinding to a halt every time they cut to Watney. She cannot be skipped for at least 5-10 seconds.
Hold down, not just press, the X button on your controller and she’ll be gone.
The neckbearding is strong in this thread. As said earlier, Pleasac is much more annoying.
What in sam hill is "neckbearding"?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
Tried that after seeing it suggested previously. Didn't work but I'll try again next time I play. I'm only able to skip her after it cuts to whoever she's talking about.
First time I tried it, it worked. I was like you, only after they skipped her and went to the player hitting X worked. Now I breeze right thru her.

Okay, Jon, ATL in CN, soon as she came on pressed and held X and that circular thing filled up and she was gone.

Okay, it must be a bug. Second game with her this didn't work. I know someone else on here posted that holding down X works, I've confirmed it, but then it won't next time I try it.
I think there's a bug. I do believe SDS did intend to let us skip thru this quickly by holding down X (same as the lineup screen), but it's bugged and doesn't work all the time. Hopefully next big patch addresses it.
Last two games have gotten rid of Heidi quickly. When you initially press X it takes about a second and a half, keep pressing, meter pops up and she’s gone.
In an ideal world we'd be able to choose from any of the 30 broadcast teams, but I can't even imagine how much that would cost, not to mention having everyone come in and do their own commentary.
