Come on now. I said I couldn't hit in PNC because I know it is a pitcher's park. Makes me doubt myself when hitting there. And I said it was a gorgeous stadium. We are talking about what park intimidates you to hit or pitch in. We all know parks are different and that is what makes baseball special.

No need to drop insults on those participating in the thread.

Having just finished a series at Coors, I'll say pitching there is intimidating.

Coors. I’m scared every time I throw a pitch.

Great American Ballpark. I get lit up everytime I pitch there and can never hit well for some reason.

No park for me. I mean sometimes you hit and sometimes you don't but the ballpark doesn't bother me as far as that goes more just the pitcher

Any time I'm playing day games at Coors Field and the opposing pitcher is a left that throws from a 3/4 arm slot (Sean Newcomb, etc.). I cannot see the ball come out of their hand until way to late.

Petco, hate that place. I swear the wind is always blowing in and the ball just refuses to leave the park for me. The amount of games I've had go to extra innings there is ridiculous, I almost assume I won't score every time I play there

I have a hard time hitting in Cleveland during the day. Can never pick the ball up until its in the catcher’s glove!

Minute Maid Park made me sweat. Nearly blew a 6-1 lead in the 8th and 9th. And every time I hit a ball deep it bounced off the wall in center field.

Comerica Park here, too. But only during day games with clear skies. The glare makes it so hard to see the pitch out of the pitcher's hand.

Petco Park Hard to hit there for me.

Fenway Park The opposite fun to hit in terrifying to pitch in.

that stadium they have the draft showcase for RTTS? yeah, that one. I'm all like, oh the big stage in front of a live studio audience. do I belong here, am I good enough to compete with the best highschoolers & collegers in America? maybe I should stick to playing Bob the Builder with my 4 year old nephew. But then, your damn right I belong here. If theres 40 rounds of drafting, I know I too can make it & earn the princely sum of $25,000 in low Single A ball. what am I, a manfella or a mouse? then reality hits & I find myself on the couch operating a dumptruck drinking bugjuice & waiting for my 7p.m. bedtime. life is rough in the big leagues.

                            Re: What stadiums intimidate you?

One thing that this thread makes me realize is that I need a 'decoder ring' to cross reference all of the stadiums named after sponsorship's (i.e. Petco = San Diego) to understand what folks are talking about. I can't tell you how many times I need to look up the park name on google when browsing OS or even reading news articles just to know what team and city is being referenced.

Favorites: Fenway, Wrigley, Oriole Park, Oakland (I know that's strange but it reminds me of the '70's when I grew to love baseball)

Least Favorites: White Sox, Tampa, Cincinnati all for basic ugliness

Oh and now to actually answer the question; I'm not intimidated by any particular stadium as much as the conditions within them. Wind blowing out when pitching, wind blowing in and funky light conditions in afternoon games when hitting.

Rogers Centre because the scoreboard behind home plate always messes my pitching up.

Because it's definitely not that soft line up in Toronto that's scaring me.....
