Having read thru many threads I’ve come to the conclusion this game is pretty great and offers every option to make it work. There are gamers a who, admittedly suck, and gamers who are so good that even LEGEND is not challenging enough. For those two groups the game might never give them the challenge, or lack, that they are looking for...

I'd like to hear somebody say the won the World Series on Legend with Human Sliders at zero & CPU Sliders at 10 . as for some that say the game is too hard I'd bet their pride wont allow them to drop to the bottom level with Human Sliders at 10 & CPU Sliders at zero lol

I've tried the opposite before ; I just dont have the fine motor skills & good eye vision to even consistently beat Legend with Human Sliders at 10 & CPU Sliders at zero

Impossible to actually "help" someone without knowing. Guys who use other guys sliders? Probably won't get the job done either without knowing everything and then you have to take into account how good/bad the gamer is.
Just some food for thought for people who really want to get the game to work for them.

This needs to be repeated. Every single person that plays The Show uses sliders. The difference is whether we use sliders that we pick to match our own style/skill level etc, or use sliders picked by a perfect stranger who knows absolutely nothing about us, our skill level, or how we play. So... since it needs to be repeated...

I play on All Star hitting, HOF pitching

Sliders for user and CPU both the same, 4 contact, 6 power, 5 timing. Pitch speed at 9, Zone hitting, batter specific PCI.

Neither me or the CPU can hit any home runs. Played around 20 games in Franchise, have seen probably 10 homers combined between me and the CPU.

Is using the PCI causing this power outage? Does directional hitting yield better results?

I play with zone hitting using the PCI and my sliders are at default.

I will admit I don't dabble much in slider adjusting (default player) but I'm wondering of due to having contact at 4, its causing weaker contact? What happens if you move the contact slider back to 5?

When I got the game this year I wasn’t hitting any HR. I’ve been playing for years and I usually hit too many HRs if anything, but this lack of power was frustrating and I wasn’t enjoying it.

I have default sliders across the board. I decided to change the power sliders for both CPU and Human by +1 to 6. For me this has made all the difference in the world.

I am currently hitting on HOF Zone. If they make a mistake I crush it.

I am pitching on Legend Meter. If I make a mistake, they crush it.

FWIW I have found the 'Human Solid Hits' slider to have an influence on HRs.

Pump the sliders up, and work on swing timing - It's slightly different than 18 is. Try PCI hitting if you haven't.

I struggled with dingers a lot at first in RTTS 19, then by the second season I had over 80 HRs and had to put the sliders back to normal.

I'm currently 11-5 with the Yankees and I think I've hit maybe 6 home runs?

Greg Bird - 1
Clint Fraznier - 1

The real Yankees sometimes hit 6 home runs PER GAME, even with this dilapidated lineup.

Other than that, I can't go deep to save my life. I've messed around with every setting. Every Slider. Every difficulty level combination and hitting interface.

It's weird. Every game pretty much follows the same pattern. Usually I give up a solo home run within the first 1-3 innings. Then usually around the 6th I get a sac fly. Then it's tied until the 9th and I either scratch out one run and win 2-1, or the other team wins 2-1.

I guess at least I'm winning more often than not, thanks to my good pitching ability,...it would just be nice to crank out some more homers, especially on a team that often lives and dies by the homer.

I hit many homeruns on default legend zone analog. Really started hitting more by skewing the redicle towards the lower half of zone, really trying to get under the ball

I never noticed this. I'm still here waiting for my complementary Tibet. And I really don't know why you'd ban David like that; not his fault no one can hit home runs in this game.
