I played one ranked game and 4 missions since the patch. Gameplay doesn’t feel too much different. I didn’t notice any more swing and misses. I had a couple hits drop in front of OF but it’s not like that was totally unheard of before.

So as of now the changes def feel “incremental” but obviously I’m coming from a very small sample size.

Okay this sounds good. How were the line drives? The show nation is widely reporting that a lot of the hits are bloop hits between fielders. Are you getting a healthy dose of line drives?

I had a decent balance. Acuña hit a missile past my third baseman and I hit a couple liners the other way for solid singles. Definitely a lot more bloops than before but I didn’t see it as a bad thing.

I'm hitting quite a few line drives in the gaps and liners down the line into the corners. More now that I had before the patch.

I'm losing my mind out here. Playing a ranked seasons game and had two throws to home in time by 10 feet and the catcher didn't even try to take the runner out.

I can confirm the spring training bug (no CPU cubs) has been fixed.

Red Sox were the CPU (obviously lol)

May I asked was this a Play full game or quick manage?

Because I played a spring training game"play full game" with the Braves there was not many position player changes.

On the other, when I did two quick manage games there multiple position player changes after their 2nd at bat.

But they couldn't fix the grass at Chase Field? Nice. It has been the same for years. This year it is artificial with a different stripe pattern.

Wish I could be home to try out the game and see if the frame rate really has improved. What's the overall consensus so far? Is it close or on par with 18's smoothness?

Yep, I was getting really good K numbers already in Ranked games. This change blows me away as incredibly unnecessary.

Maybe its more addressed with offline. My RTS pitcher who has a 99 k/9 rating was getting 3 k's per game on a good day. I know how to pitch as I've played the game for 10 years

It has improved a lot especially when you play faster. I tried balanced and it was also pretty good as well. Not sure if I’m going to move to Balance or stay with faster..

Regarding framerate, it is MASSIVELY improved now. Feels so much fresher and authentic. I play on PS4 Pro, HDR balanced setting and it runs smoothly all game.

Just hope they can fix the stadium sound bug that seems to have removed the reverb.

Pitcher/DH bug not fixed is glaring omission but it is a franchise thing so not shocked. Sad days for Franchise guys as things that pop up in DD are sometimes fixed in days and things that pop up in Franchise that can potentially be game killing don't even get a mention SMH.

This is why I've had it with this game at the moment. I've had it with SDS as well. Back to '18 I go since at least I know what I'm getting: bad 3B play, liners to the gaps, and the pitcher isn't magically inserted as the DH.

Hopefully the microtransactions take care of my purchase yearly. I'm done.
