no doubt. if Sony would loosen the purse-strings & invest in the Show as heavy as EA does with Madden or 2k with NBA, the vote from OS regarding MLBtS would average an 11, out of 10, IMO

My beef isnt with SDS, its with Sony. I'm at the point I'd just as soon see Sony sell SDS to someone willing to go all in on major league baseball. SDS deserves better support than they get from Sony, again, IMO

In all the years going there, I never got the sense that Sony squashed their creativity or the quantity of content that went in each year. The team really determines the direction. It just seems the game’s direction is heavily steered by telemetry data. Almost too heavily imo.

yeah, I dont think Sony handcuffs the devs creativity, MLB does a good job of that all by themselves lol I think where Sony drops the ball is the size of the Studio team. I understand Sony has to be fiscally responsible but I dont have to like it

          Personally, I say 8.5/10

I am currently using dynamic difficulty and hover around vet+ to allstar for both hitting and pitching. I am having competitive, close games, and the occasional blow out. I am really enjoying 19, and hope 1.11 doesnt mess with it too much.

            I don’t think it matters.

I think we as consumers are under the belief that more employees = more time spent on franchise/legacy issues/whatever else but I have a feeling it would just mean even more time spent on the money maker.

It is what it is. Like Armor said we are dinosaurs. Like so many other aspects of life, young people just don’t wanna do things like we do them. Yeah I'll rephrase... this would be for online. Offline, I have sliders that match more to the timing and location of the hit. Zone hitting and HOF.

After the patch I rate it a 8
                  (Was a 7 before)
Still alot of lag in the framerate-
Color red is still off on some teams (at this point inexcusable)
And the timing is just off
(Tired of having good swing contact and being right on a pitch and its a fly out)!
                  Love the game otherwise

As a standalone game, I'd probably give it a 6 or 7 out of 10, but given the base it started from 16/17/18, I don't think it's made enough progress, so I'd have to give it more like a 4. In particular I think the modes have gone backwards rather than forwards. Franchise got a couple of minor upgrades, with giant bugs attached, while DD is the most underwhelming it's ever been imo.

It's a good game, but it's just not a big enough improvement for my liking.

Also why are so many players missing real portraits such as Todd Frazier, unreal.

Speaking of scanned faces, I wish to add to that list Nick Senzel (CIN) and Mith Keller (PIT). Neither of them look real. Both are young looking guys in real life. Keller is totally beardless and looks about 18 ! Those 2 portraits sure don't reflect that. Fortunately, both names are in the audio, so I replaced them. Ridin and his team should be hired by SDS. They do a much better job when it comes to creating faces. Vlad and Tatis are they only two that are spot on. Otherwise, the game is fabulous. The best ever IMO.

                        I’d give it a 6.
