Is anyone else experiencing screen flashes after the last two patches? The bottom half of my screen flashes white. Was not experiencing this prior to last two patches.

It is frustrating for players to have to wait into June (hopefully) to wait for major bugs to be fixed and begin their franchises.

Ridin.....chillax. That was my point. That maybe that is why it is taking so long because they are trying to find what is causing it and pin pointing it. I know how many people are having this issue. But a few us do not...why? I don't know and maybe SDS is having issues too pin pointing it down. And I do know it is being worked on.

As for the new standard......there is one true 2 way player that is well known in MLB right now.

My other point was if they are having such a tough time fixing it.....take it out for 19 and work on a solid code for 20. Why have all this BS for one two way player?

I can almost assure you 99% of us would not miss having the ability to bat and pitch with Ohtani on 19.

As for 99% thats not even close as i know guys who wont play franchise until its fixed and if its the 2 way player situation isnt fixed wont play at all this year. As for one in MLB yes i am aware so thanks for informing me on that BUT i was talking about it as its about to be a whole lot more as we have organizations using multiple 2 way players in AA and AAA across the board that may come in to play this season as playoff races heat up. The Rays alone have multiple guys in triple A they are prepping to use including top prospect Brendan McKay. So chillax as I was just letting everyone know i was aware of a fix. You or any die hard franchise guy cant tell me they dont want the option of 2 way players this year so lets stop speculating it cant be fixed until we are told that, as of now the communication is its being worked on.

First I respect both of you guys in this argument. But as a die hard franchise guy I could not care any less for two way players right now as much as I just want a game that works. Take it out or leave it in. Don't care which way the pig farts just get it fixed one way or the other.

I can honestly say I don't care if they implement/fix 2 way players or not, as I personally think its a fad that will quickly fade.

I'm currently on a 4 game losing streak where I scored a total of 4 runs. It was pre-patch, but I'm going to blame this one for it.

Wow...I’m so happy I haven’t purchased this game. I was planning to buy it as soon as they show ANY interest in fixing ANY franchise issues. What a let down...again!

You would think the "easiest" way to fix the pitchers as DH "bug" would be to just eliminate it, and allow us the option to actually set lineups WITH ANYONE at DH, pitchers included. Then code the game so the CPU puts the BEST hitter not starting at a position, at DH......

In the case of the Angels, that would be Ohtani. In the case of most other teams, it would be a position player.....

I’m a franchise junkie and I don’t understand why anybody (who isn’t a die hard Angels fan) would really care about having 2-way players, let alone vow to not play at all this year without that option, it just isn’t prevalent enough currently in my opinion to warrant that.

2-way players aren’t the new standard.....yet. They will be within a few years though and I think if SDS had played it correctly they would’ve spent this year and next year perfecting the kinks and their implementation of 2-way players into the game. Which would give enough time for a handful of guys to get up to the big leagues and gain popularity while validating they are the future of baseball. Then for MLB The Show 21 you get pitcher Ohtani facing hitter Ohtani on the cover and on the back of the box “THIS REVOLUTION IS HERE 2 STAY” and boom there’s your marketing gimmick for the year.

I don’t have a problem with bugs and glitches usually, but I can’t remember the last feature they added that felt as rushed and thrown together as this one.

But I’m hopeful they’ll have it fixed, I know those guys work their asses off.

I guess on the bright side 30 team control can fix the issue if you’re a franchise player. If you’re a RTTS player it really sucks.

I honestly haven’t read up on this like I should. I run 30-team control and I’m curious, how does it show up exactly and how can it be fixed using 30-Team control?

As much as I have and want to have a carryover franchise the game seems to continue coming up with reasons why this is problematic and bordering on infuriating.

It seems like just picking one team and playing a single season with each release may be the best way to go.
