Yes I would like two way player ability like anyone else, but not at the expense of a franchise mode wrecking bug.

So hopefully they work it out.

Not to be nitpicky bc it is an art thing, but Chase Field still has grass and the scoreboard is from three years ago....last year they updated Coors Field after release.

Regardless of anything, it seems the easiest way to fix the bug is to set the priorities on hitting attributes when the CPU selects a DH. CPU should be selecting the best hitter not in the lineup at a fielding position for that spot, whether it is a Pitcher (Ohtani) or not. (And then of course comparing fielding attributes of the chosen player with whoever is in their position spot in the field and swapping them if the player at DH is a better fielder, not with pitchers though).

Of course the other part of this bug is that Pitchers who are appearing at DH are having their energy depleted and then not having full energy when there turn comes up in the pitching rotation.

I am probably hexing myself but in all my franchises it has not shown up. Crazy. And I think that is what is delaying the fix. Finding and zeroing in on the exact cause. That is why I just want them to delete the code that allows two way players.

It is for one freaking player!!!!! And all the crying about being able to use Ohtani as a two way player by members on this board has led to this ugly bug.

All for one freaking player.

Caps lock?

There are a lot of players who have been carrying over a file for multiple years now and do not want to start over. It may be more fun that way for some, but it is not a solution to the problem. Also there are those of us that like playing with the rules the MLB has now and not before the DH rule came into effect.

Kind of a good news/bad news situation here. The Blue Jays alternate IS in the game, but it doesn't change the batting helmet. The batting helmet when wearing this cap is wrong, it's the solid blue one, not the white panel like it should be.

I know the focus is on the DH issue but I have to tell you...the transferring of preloaded throws when switching fielders is a God send. So nice now that when a ball is in the outfield and I'm switching fielders to have the stronger arm throw the ball, that I don't have to worry about re-loading my throw. So welcomed.
