Preloaded throws will now transfer when switching players.

This was so damn annoying. I would give up an extra base far too often because I didn't re-preload a throw when switching fielders.

No fix for Spring Training subs either. I think we're now at the point where it's a real possibility these things aren't getting fixed. Disappointing isn't a strong enough word. I've pre-ordered the last two years because I believed in the quality of SDS' work and because I wanted to play right away. Next year I'm waiting for the game to come out and read reviews. That kind of loyalty has to be earned, and it hasn't been.

I have been the biggest fan boy of this game for a very long time. Most of you old timers know why and how I have staunchly defended the Devs and this game.

But this has finally caused me to switch to the Dark Side. We were specifically told the DH fix was being worked on for patch 1.11. If it couldn't be fixed fine then mention it. Why the radio silence. Now we are told to wait for ANOTHER patch. So 11 patches in and still no fixes for offline franchise problems. But numerous fixes and tweaks to the online MONEYMAKER?

I am sorry but in this day and age, this is just too much for me. It has become abundantly clear that unless they can find a way to monetize offline franchise its just dead in the water. The DH bug has finally appeared in my franchise, pretty much ruining 5 seasons of work for me. I am done and out until this is fixed. Going back to '18 or hell maybe even all the way back to '16 when it all worked and you could play RTTS any way you wanted to. Gameplay on the field in '19 is the best its ever been, but the bugs are just too much for me anymore. Hopefully someday the fix this years game.

This is no longer a day one pickup for me. The past two years have just been a mess of legacy issues, bugs and patches changing game play. These folks have burned up any lasting trust or faith about putting out a complete and working game that I have had. Its a shame but thats the way it goes I guess.

I think we've been spoiled to think that, for years, the Show revolved around this site, devs coming here, chatting with us, etc. I don't think they are going to mention things they "can't fix" in notes as we aren't their sole audience. We expect to be coddled a bit. Not working that way. Not defending them, just trying to give a reason why things that "can't be fixed" aren't outlined in patch notes.

I'm curious, maybe I missed it, but who said it was being worked on for this patch?

It was stated on an earlier content stream by SDS.

(Which is why I think it is a horrible idea for devs to pre-announce planned patch fixes unless they have definitive patch notes - like they obviously did last night)

Call me paranoid but I think it's because they want us to stop playing franchise and go to diamond dynasty. I won't do that, I just won't buy another MLB The Show game again.

I dont care whether they post here or not.They have their own site, they do streams on Twitch regularly. They said on the stream before that the DH bug was being worked on for patch 1.11. They did a stream yesterday and talked about the patch notes for today. They could have easily said they could not get a fix done for this problem and that they were still working on it. Not that difficult. But offline modes don't make money.

Yesterday they even said on the stream fixes were for DD only and that Franchise was a different game. Obviously one that is no longer a priority for them.

Maybe they can't fix it without some major work, same with spring training subs. They won't say that though.

What I find amusing about this whole thing is the reason they even added the feature of having a pitcher DH is because of Ohtani...and recently they removed the ability for him to pitch!!

But how can anyone be surprised that offline franchise players are on the lowest priority? Come on guys. I won't let that get me worked up into a fit of rage or get me so pissed off.

I am probably hexing myself but in all my franchises it has not shown up. Crazy. And I think that is what is delaying the fix. Finding and zeroing in on the exact cause. That is why I just want them to delete the code that allows two way players.

It is for one freaking player!!!!! And all the crying about being able to use Ohtani as a two way player by members on this board has led to this ugly bug.

All for one freaking player.

Ridiculous. Just simply nonsense.

Take it out. It obviously ****ed the entire logic up so take it out.

Let's face it - with the Venditte two-handed pitcher, video game creators were now put in a tough spot. They never had to deal with this before. Then Ohtani comes along, and we have the "two-way" player in baseball. I'm no computer / gaming creator expert - shoot, I know nothing about programming and code. But baseball was able to just get lazy because they could throw the SAME game out year-after-year with little effort being made. Once they realized there was a LOT of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to be made in other modes, the offline gamer and franchise person got screwed. I'm 47 - I'm really losing interest in this stuff. In 2019 I've already lessened my TV viewing hours, lessened my video gaming hours, and have read 8 novels, working on my 9th, read the Bible thru and working on read-thru #2 for 2019, and have read another 7 books related to my work. Garbage like this DH glitch not getting fixed really helps me walk away from this more and more. And this is coming from a guy who OBSESSED over realistic rosters in years past. I could honestly care less now...and the irony of it all? It was the video gaming industry that helped me make my decision...

I guess on the bright side 30 team control can fix the issue if you’re a franchise player. If you’re a RTTS player it really sucks.
