Make it so that a team’s logo and colors on the scorebug are tied to uniforms.

For example, if I’m using the Rays and I’m wearing their green Devil Ray throwbacks, have the scorebug show TB with a green background and the Devil Ray logo.

Yes! This would help with the immersion of playing with era specific teams as well.

sorry for any repeats, didn't read every post of this thread. A dozen things after 1000's of franchise games over the years. I play all 162 franchise every season with the Mets on quick counts the last 6-7 years:



1. quick counts - have 1-0 , 0-1, and 0-0 as pre AB counts as well.

2. pinch hitting for P in NL, have bullpen auto appear to make me warm up a pitcher please!

3. upcoming schedule screen, please show upcoming 3-4 games the projected SPs as being LHP or RHP.

4. tweak OF speed vs batted ball speed, too many OFs get in front and charge every ball and come up clean no matter hit speed, making extra bases difficult ie 1st to 3rd especially

5. have fielders have a sprint button, but make fielding while sprinting risky, may help my point #3.

6. injuries, more 1-5 game non DL pulls, strains etc types, and SPs have a "skip start" type of sore/dead arm non DL injury types.

7. doubleheaders for make up games and rain outs and cancelled games please!

8. have pitchers pre-game who are very fatigued be listed as "unavailable" and make using such a pitcher a big performance/injury risk.

9. pipe dream but a feature where play now rosters and franchise could be combined. i.e. i play every franchise game in season with each game using the actual game rosters from the real game that was played. Even if it meant franchise games would lag several weeks or even months behind the current season.

10. umpire strike zones, I play using average and variable, in general too many strikes are called balls, rather than the reality which seems is usually the opposite.

11. stadium crowds in franchise, have empty stadium sections when the crowd is small to medium sized. Weird seeing attendance as 8-12K in Miami but there's evenly dispersed people in every single stadium section.

12. have base runners (on 1st, 1st & 2nd or bases loaded) on 3-2 and 2 out counts automatically run when the pitch is delivered.



All I have for now except for more variety of everything and every aspect involving game play.

Yes double headers when a game is rained out amazing idea

Able to edit coaches and managers (jersey numbers at least)

PLEASE Add pitching and batting practice.. INSIDE franchise mode.

Biggest hopes for me are all about Franchise.

1. Rainouts and scheduled double headers.
2. Add in playable Single A minor league teams.
3. Some actual minor league stadiums
4. Relocate franchises. Would be nice if we had a create a stadium feature to go with this. Would also help if we can't get real minor league stadiums in.
5. Editable draft classes. I want to create my own prospects.
6. As someone else requested, allow us to vote on rules changes in Franchise like the NBA 2K games do.
7. More GM control such as ticket prices, promo selection, etc.
8. Expansion - Allow us to create an expansion Franchise and/or deal with expansion draft.
9. Minor league medical rehab assignments.
10. Better trade logic and trade deadline moves that reflect what we actually see. If a team is out of the race and knows a player is leaving, have them be traded for prospects, etc.
11. A more detailed minor league report. Have a weekly report where we are updated on minor league players so we we can tell who is doing what and we have idea of who might need a call up or will fill an injury hole better.
12. Better weather effects. I want rain to collect on the field and maybe cause a problem if the game isn't stopped (puddles, etc.) Add snow and extreme cold to weather options in early months.
13. 3 and 4 team trades. I want to be able to make trades work by involving other teams.
14. Better Free agent logic. A team with loaded pitching won't be targeting another starter when they actually need a big bat, etc.
15. This one is a long shot and if we ever do see I know it won't until PS5 but a separate broadcast team for minor league games, MLB Network games, and standard games. The standard games team would be a two man team and would give more "local flare" for your team. Minor league could be just one man and do it more in an old school radio broadcast vibe and MLB network games would be your current "A Team."
16. Rotating interleague games. Should be higher on this list. I forgot it and had to edit it on there. This is long overdue and inexcusable if it isn't finally corrected.


A few non-Franchise exclusive items.

1. Actual winning scoreboard pictures, like the W going on the scoreboard when the Cubs win, etc.
2. WBC mode
3. For select pitchers, allow more than just 5 pitches.
4. More celebrations so I'm not seeing the same ones over and over again.
5. Outside stadium shots before the games.

As said by others, this game is already far along in production so if none of this was already included we might be sending them a Show 21 wishlist. And some of these items might be held back for PS5 anyway so I don't think it is every too soon to share ideas. Looking forward to seeing the next info on the upcoming game!

My absolute biggest wish for the 2020 year and beyond?

Honestly its for someone else to put out a MLB Game in competition to The Show. I really think we will only see drastic improvement in the game with some competition to push the market and boundaries.

I know THIS is truly a pipe dream, but it is the first thing on my wish list.

5. Yes please! Although I doubt they would add suspensions resulting from things other than ejections. It would be interesting to see players randomly get 80 game PED suspensions.

10. This is in The Show 20; on a pitchers profile, go to their career pitching stats, hit square and their career hitting stats by season will show up.

9: This is already in the game. Go to CONTRACTS screen in franchise and choose COACHES. Then highlight the coach you wish to fire and press X.

the issue is Sony's incentive. right now there is none. otherwise high a and low a would be in the game. bringing the 90-man rosters to 125. for levels below that,there could be another non playable level (much like the current 15-man lone single A in todays Show), with up to 25 players on that particular level, bringing the total to a more robust 150-man roster. full but still yet incomplete, compared to IRL

again, there is zero incentive to do it.
