Better RTTS storyline. More in depth. Be able to be higher draft pick coming out of HS or college like early years. Have the showcase more then 2 games. Be drafted previous year so for MLB 20 be drafted in 2019. Play the 30-40 games in ROK ball. Get invited to spring training, depending on how you play and the roster need determines if you start in Single A, Double A, etc.

sorry for any repeats, didn't read every post of this thread. A dozen things after 1000's of franchise games over the years. I play all 162 franchise every season with the Mets on quick counts the last 6-7 years:

1. quick counts - have 1-0 , 0-1, and 0-0 as pre AB counts as well.
2. pinch hitting for P in NL, have bullpen auto appear to make me warm up a pitcher please!
3. upcoming schedule screen, please show upcoming 3-4 games the projected SPs as being LHP or RHP.
4. tweak OF speed vs batted ball speed, too many OFs get in front and charge every ball and come up clean no matter hit speed, making extra bases difficult ie 1st to 3rd especially
5. have fielders have a sprint button, but make fielding while sprinting risky, may help my point #3.
6. injuries, more 1-5 game non DL pulls, strains etc types, and SPs have a "skip start" type of sore/dead arm non DL injury types.
7. doubleheaders for make up games and rain outs and cancelled games please!
8. have pitchers pre-game who are very fatigued be listed as "unavailable" and make using such a pitcher a big performance/injury risk.
9. pipe dream but a feature where play now rosters and franchise could be combined. i.e. i play every franchise game in season with each game using the actual game rosters from the real game that was played. Even if it meant franchise games would lag several weeks or even months behind the current season.
10. umpire strike zones, I play using average and variable, in general too many strikes are called balls, rather than the reality which seems is usually the opposite.
11. stadium crowds in franchise, have empty stadium sections when the crowd is small to medium sized. Weird seeing attendance as 8-12K in Miami but there's evenly dispersed people in every single stadium section.
12. have base runners (on 1st, 1st & 2nd or bases loaded) on 3-2 and 2 out counts automatically run when the pitch is delivered.

All I have for now except for more variety of everything and every aspect involving game play.

I have a strike zone Idea. You know how we have a strike zone clearly shown (you can turn this on/off obviously as we know. How about for the “vision” portion have great hitters with better eyes have a “clean” view of the strike zone - kind of like zone hitting; only this is just the view of the zone. For bad hitters, or hitters that strike out a ton have their view of the zone small.

Locked 60fps PLEASE. 2019 runs pretty good on the Pro on faster, but it's not perfect. Imo sds needs to make the frame rate one of the priorities for 2020.

The 26-man roster better be in as well as the September rosters no longer majorly expanding otherwise it really changes how much I'll play franchise.

I hope the outfield defense gets some love. There are two types of dives ... the slide catch and just a regular dive. We need more animations of those - like higher rated OF should have those beautiful animations vs a bad OF who dives etc. The defense took an overall step up but this needs some love. Speaking of outfield defense ... man collision detection IF/OF going for the same catch or just speed bursting to a ball with no regard for the wall/because there is no collision detection/injury. This is realllllly needed.

I don’t anticipate franchise getting relocation or custom logos or uniforms but:

Can we at least have it where we can change a team’s primary logo with one that’s already in game. For example, change the Marlins logo back to their logo when they entered the league as the Florida Marlins or the DBacks back to purple/teal logo.

Can we at least have it where we can change a team’s primary logo with one that’s already in game. For example, change the Marlins logo back to their logo when they entered the league as the Florida Marlins or the DBacks back to purple/teal logo.

Another pipe dream as far as this goes would be to use one of the officially licensed logos and color them using any colors from old schemes. The old Marlins logo with the black/light blue/neon red would look pretty awesome. Even though I know there's no chance in hell it would happen

I guess I'll just add the same thing I've added to wish lists every year:

1. Achievements page. Show how many times a player has been an all-star, gold glover, silver slugger, MVP, thrown a no-hitter/perfect game, etc. Bonus points for adding things like "clubs"... 40/40, pitching triple crown, etc.

1b. To add to that, show a player's career high in hits/homers/strikeouts/etc on the back of player cards as well... Or have an all-time leaderboard and be able to exclude the dead ball era for pitchers. Baseball is a statistical wonderland and there are troublingly few ways to track stats. It doesn't seem like too much to ask to expand on player cards and have all-time career/season/game leaderboards.

2. Relocation/Stadium Creation. The most frustrating thing out of all is the fact that every game offers this in some way shape or form other than The Show. NBA 2K has shown that you can do so much with this while Madden has conversely shown how frustratingly little you can do with this type of feature. But with a completely clean slate, it just seems like the sky is the limit and I'd hope that somehow, someway we get this in the future. If you're a fan of the Rays and want to make your home stadium a waterfront park that has a view of Tampa's beauty instead of a dank cavern like the Trop, why not give us the option? If you like the A's but want to put a new stadium overlooking the Bay Bridge, instead of at an old spacious football stadium, why not? Baseball stadiums are unique and would offer so many possibilities... Open it up to the community and I'm sure it would be one of the best ideas ever.

3. Let fan interest be able to change over time. I am in the middle of a five-year continued franchise with the Marlins. I play every game, and I'm good at the game so the Marlins, in my world, are a powerhouse with a huge budget. Yet, still, my fan base is the exact same as it was when I took the team over. Unless it's the playoffs, my home games bring in about 9-10 thousand people. That doesn't make sense.

4. New defense animations for spectacular plays. I'm getting pretty sick of the same diving/leaping catch animations that I've seen since the original Playstation. Bring in some new MoCap data. Sheesh!

5. New celebration animations, too... Come to think of it, the walkoff home run animation is the exact same as it was when I started playing this game for the PS3. Also, there's no reason why every celebratory animation is the exact same. A no-hitter/perfect game/clinching playoffs/winning ALDS/ALCS/World Series... It's all the same!

I'd love to have the general ability to change league rules, like the one that currently exists in NBA 2K. Even better if it includes the ability to revert to old league rules.

For instance, if the three batter minimum was implemented in real life, I'd love to have the ability to repeal it in-game. Other rule changes could pertain to things like playoff format.

As a Giants fan, the option to alter my manager's name, information, etc from the main menu would be very, very appreciated!
