Has there ever been any mention of expanding rosters past 90? I don’t recall any by SDS. Would there be a way to expand to 120 and not mess with carryover saves?
Fix the change up/ fastball velo. Getting tired of facing a 90mph fb and a 70 mph change etc. Should be no more than 10-13 mph difference. I was watching a stream the other day Nolan Ryan throwing 100 mph fb and a 77 mph change ridiculous and unrealistic.
I would like to see sun glasses mode.....or a mode where all games can appear as night games. I really don't understand the fun in playing a game when I can't see the ball. Save that for real life. i don't need the eye strain and irritation. Realistic lighting is great until it ain't.
I should add I never had a hard time seeing the ball in real life.....because depth I am sure....

Reason: add a bit
Ability to relocate teams and a stadium builder/editor in franchise.
Option to turn off morale completely.
More pitching/catching stats. For pitchers include stats for their tendencies vs RH batters and LH batters. Catchers should have a framing stat to help influence borderline calls.
Split injury and durability stats. It sucks having to sit someone who normally could play almost everyday but he has a low durability rating due to injuries. Some guys I'm having to rest every 3-4 days and when they're not injured that's totally unrealistic.
Fix age regression. I know this is possibly the hardest to do because of roster limitations but in my franchise (I play as the Braves so this is all sim) Verlander has a 2.83 ERA and is leading the AL in IP at the All Star Break. But every stat of his including stamina is down at least 7 or 8 points already. It's unrealistic and a real pain to have to go and keep editing him to stop him from being a 75 OVR at the end of the year. I know it's impossible to predict when someone will regress but when they have stats like that maybe only a -1 or -2 would be fine. Save the -7 and -8 for veteran guys actually playing poorly.
More retro uniforms. As the Braves I'd love to see some of the old Boston uniforms like the Beaneaters or the original Red Stockings. Negro league uniforms would be cool to see as well.
From the list above, I think that rotating inter-league schedules should be a priority. Also moving coaches to the roster so that our master roster makers could edit them would be great. That would also let us create classic rosters.
I would like to add the ability to store a created face for our RTTS player. Every time I start a new career, I end up spending at least 30 minutes redoing the face from the Excel spreadsheet I have. Having limited time to play, that only happens on the weekend. It would be nice to have it in our Universal Profile for quick access.
Also in RTTS, it would be nice if we could edit non attributes for players, such as audio and numbers. Sometimes I come across a player that needs his audio adjusted or his equipment has changed and there is no way to incorporate these changes without restarting the mode from the beginning.
A nice visual piece would be to put actual jumbotron animations up. I am not talking about advertisements, but home run or strikeout animations. If that is not possible, then use team colors for the canned animations. Also, it would be nice if the colors matched the selected jerseys. For example, when San Diego uses the white and blue jerseys, the scoreboard has a blue theme. When the brown and yellow ones are used, the scoreboard is in a brown an yellow theme.
*Better stat tracking / success tracking
------ in my Mets franchise I fired Mickey Calloway (obviously)... hired some created guy for 3 years won the world series in year 3... have no clue what his name was and couldn't find out without jumping through loopholes to try and re-sign. Same goes for recent years standings. Without tracking it yourself all progress is lost.
*Custom draft classes
------- if nothing else just the first round would be nice...
*International FA / Draft Negotiations
------- I don't expect a highly detailed draft salary pool like OOTP but these should be incorporated into the game seeing how important both are to MLB.
* Top Prospects
------- It's not hard to see who the top ones are through OVR/POT but a list of 10 or so for each team would be nice to have in the team screen.
* Prospects logic
-------- It's annoying when the CPU calls up guys way before they're ready and they get rocked in the majors. It's too much work to monitor 30 teams constantly when injuries are happening nonstop but regardless Casey Mize should not be getting called up in May of 2019 by the Tigers.
* Ability to trade $ / international slot $
------- Again not expecting this to be in the game but if nothing else MLB The Show could at least add a retain feature like NHL series has. The Mariners alone have made a handful of trades just this year retaining money. With budgets turned on it's nearly impossible to trade players with high $'s for prospects.
* Old players not falling off a cliff
-------- It's incredibly annoying to play a franchise (even with 30 team control on) and getting through half a season to see Albert Pujols, David Price, CC Sabathia etc playing at 68 OVR in the minor leagues. Sure they might not be the best players in 2021 but they won't be in the minors.
* Rehab assignments
---------- Super annoying to me that someone could break a leg and immediately come of the IL to start forcing a roster change. These should be apart of the game and should be the only reason proven vets see time in the minors ^^
* Carry-Over injuries
----------- Has anyone ever started spring training with a guy who will be out for part/most/all of the season? There's at least 5-10 noticable guys
every year in real life. (Cespedes, Manea, Perez, Koepech, etc)
* Trade Logic / Trade Deadline Tracker
----------- I turn injuries off in 30 team because of how bad some of the CPU logic is but either way it'd be nice to have a Contender / Rebuild label like NHL has but one that works better. The Orioles/Jays/Mariners/Tigers should all be selling around the deadline and the Yankees/Dodgers/Astros/etc should all be buyers. If nothing else make it easier to recognize who's what without having to back out and go to standings screen and back
* 4/6 man rotations
------ self explanatory. Pretty dumb this isn't an option already
* Ability to vote on rules or make rule changes (DH)
------- I started my most recent franchise that I hope to carry over with league wide DH because of all the talk of the league moving towards that in a couple years. I actually prefer the way it is but with the Mets having Alonso/Smith and Cespedes/Cano I figured it wouldn't hurt. However, I'd have rather kept it like current MLB and been able to do this after year 2 or 3 like NBA 2k has with rule changes.
* Rainouts / double headers / postponements
-------- double headers, finishing the last 2 innings the next day, 26th man/re-organizing rotation... all important factors still left out. I appreciate the steps towards this with in-game delays but let's take the next step
(Edit) Forgot One
* Tendering Contracts
----- It is BEYOND annoying to have to go through all 30 teams and make sure they tender contracts to top prospects. In what world do guys like Joey Bart end up in 2020 free agency?
the only thing I can think of is being able to easily access the divisional standings while in the trading block/make trades screens. In my franchise I try to make trades in a realistic manner (i.e. go after MLB players from teams out of playoff contention and trade my MLB players to contending teams for prospects), yet when I'm looking at the trading block, I'm constantly backing out several screens to take a look at the standings to make sure what I'm doing makes sense.
I guess I could always use my phone to take a photo of the standings before I start working on trades, but it shouldn't be that way. At the very least, put the record and position in the standings next to each team's name when scrolling through looking for trades.
Of course...if this is already there and I have simply missed it, then please disregard lol
Have the developers play MLB 12: The Show. Seriously, that game was awesome. Make it exactly like 12, only with PS4 graphics, the lighting they added in 15, quick counts, and quick manage.
My only complaint with 12 was that the games took too dang long.
Would the lady who left her nine kids at Wrigley Field please pick them up immediately? They are beating the Cubs 4-0 in the 7th inning!
