The HR/9 should dictate the probability of a HR being hit, not how hard balls are hit in general.

HR/9 in theory battles power, which all my playtesting confirms only effects bat exit velocity ceilings.

Now I can never be %100 sure based on my playtesting alone, but I have done a massive amount of it. All of my results indicate that attributes (batter vs pitcher) get the ball off the bat. The rest is just physics from that point on. So assuming my testing results are true, there is no attribute that dictates the probability of a homerun being hit.

Unless HR/9 impacts launch angles as well, removing its ability to limit bat exit velocity ceilings makes it do nothing.

This reeks of a quick online fix that screws over the offline crowd.

Disappointed in the Show this year for the 1st time since it originally came out-

21 patches later and still Framerate issues
Hope this gets taken care of in next yrs game

I'm playing on a TCL tv with HDR on and game resolution balanced and have no issues with frame rate... what are you all talking about...

ever come to think that the system (ps4) cant run native 2140P and checkerboarding is what is causing our frame rate issues...

try going down to balanced at 1440 and see how it plays

Some people are much more sensitive to frame rates than others and as someone who is used to PC gaming at very high frame rates on a GSYNC monitor I can tell when The Show hitches. Having said that, The Shows frame rate is very playable to the point where I'm not even concerned about it. I do think that it's smoother overall on the balanced setting, which is a lower frame rate in general but when it does hitch it's not as noticeable as when it lags on the faster setting because the overall dip is less. Also, some stadiums are better than others.

I got 25 hits and 15 runs first game after the patch. I scored at least a run all 9 innings. Matt V said it’s only been done 7 times in the national league. Hit a ton of homeruns too. Second game scored 11 runs with 5 homeruns and now in my third game post patch and have 4 homeruns in three innings. Before this patch I thought the game was playing awesome. Now it seems jacked up

Make it 5 homeruns in 3 innings. Kiki Hernandez just hit one 467 feet. Lol

A lot of great useful information from Nomo and others. Just keep in mind some of the information or theories were posted back in 2013 and were now in 2019 , so I'm not sure if everything works the same still.

I have now played 10 games post patch and I honestly don't see anything different. The only thing that jumps out at me post patch is that I have won each game I've played post patch and now have 3 consecutive walk off wins.

My first Nats franchise game post patch, combined 9 homers🤔🤔🤔. Game finished with a 14- 12 win, Corbin started and gave up 8 runs in 5 innings. No joke ball seemed juiced, just one game but didn't seem quite right.😯😯

I've only played one game, but yeah I haven't noticed anything different either. Could be the wording of the patch is incorrect (ie the patch could have been removing a hard exit velocity cap that it imposed while still effecting the odds of high velocities proccing) or it could be an online only fix (which they have mislabeled in the past as being universal).
