23 patches and never even tried to fix any real issues with this train wreck of a game. Why bother to patch anything now ? I once was so in love with this game that I couldn’t wait to get home and play it every day, now it’s mostly just a coaster for my beer, really wish I could have good things to say about it again.

I played last night, and couldn’t really pick up on much of anything that may have been different. I’m loving the game!!!

I was hoping maybe they would address the cpu base running.
I have not seen a cpu baserunner try to stretch a single yet this year.
Standing doubles is all I see...
So many gap hits or other balls hit to outfield where the cpu runner should attempt to run to second is given to the baserunner holding at first.
Don’t see any more close plays at home or third very generic station to station baserunning logic...boring..

I believe that they didn’t try to fix runners not going to second because there are too many doubles hit already. The gameplay is just tuned very poorly this year and that’s why I just can’t play it, it’s awful. Glad others are enjoying it but I can’t see how. When you look at the best sliders out there this year and you see cpu fouls at 0 and timing at 0 etc to me that just shows how poorly it’s tuned . I was averaging just under 6 walks a game on legend and typically had cpu pitch count at 45 plus after 2 innings, never had this problem before, yet can hardly get the cpu to ever strike out when I am pitching without making it so they can’t hit so ?? Another thing for future years , can they please make it harder !!! I don’t consider myself a great player , I believe all star level should be about where I and most players are but I am playing legend just so the cpu can get some hits ??? Why ?? Totally unacceptable . Yes I can turn up sliders to make cpu more potent but then it’s always over the top never a sim like experience. Gameplay was better in 17 than now IMO

I'm always up for a rational discussion but you weren't offering one. You were being condescending at best and elitist at worst. Since you were not offering a solution or questions about the issue and were wrong in your assumption I don't see how any of that was starting a rational discourse. But you do you poppet.

I honestly had no idea that the options and service times weren't accurate or I would have never made that comment. I wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything. I just had no clue that they were screwed up.

no idea how long its been fixed/patched, but Alonso in my universe has his options now

He was fixed in the last roster update, but there are still a good half dozen or so that are messed up still. Actually its a lot more than I thought. If you go thru the roster of every team MOST of the Rookies. who have the big R by their name, actually have their options maxed out.

Edit:

Ok we may be on to something here. I have saved almost every roster update. The earlier rosters seem to be fine because players do not have the R (Rookie) tag placed on them. The few that do have the options maxed out about 75% of the time. So this would lead me to believe that it is a matter of a box being checked on later Rosters that would need to be unchecked? Maybe this is something they can fix with the last roster update?

and speaking of art fixes, a bunch of nobodies were put in their proper uni on their picture in updates throughout the season. But Manny Machado was left in a Dodger uni all year, no hometown San Diego love?

If anybody is interested. I took my PS4 to work today. I am just finishing up a roster that has all options correct. I think I got rid of all double or generic player faces as well.

I searched thru every roster update, a lot of OS uploaded rosters, players etc. I have been exporting, importing and editing all day. I have not altered stats, contracts, equipment, etc. Thats up to you all.

I am not going to claim any of this is my work beyond editing and putting it together. But as far as I can tell, all options are correct and most players are on the roster.

Ok its up. My Roster Proj 3 PSN Psychotic-Coffee Hope you enjoy.
