    Astros Punishment

Wonder if Hinch will still be in the dugout for the Astros in MLBTS20....

    How does that work?
Will MLB allow him to still be represented in the game during his one year suspension?

Jeff Luhnow and manager AJ Hinch have each been suspended for the 2020 season without pay as part of Major League Baseball's ruling in the team's sign-stealing controversy.

I assume it will be a generic manager under a different name.

He won't be in the game at all...he was just fired.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

That's certainly what should happen, but we are kinda late in the cycle and idk if they've already updated the manager likenesses for '20.

At the very least I'd expect he's still in the game when the beta starts tomorrow - although the impact of that is minimized since it'll probably only be in DD with presentation cut out. You'd probably be able to recognize him if you were playing the CPU Astros and looked in the dugout on a replay.

Good riddance to those cheaters... whether Hinch approved of it or not.

I suppose the Red Sox are next.

Hopefully we get to edit managers in this years game so it can be whoever we want it to be.

So it’s not EA Sports? Cause he’s not in the game?

is it too late for SDS to skip the Astro's from drafting in the first round in franchise for one year?

2 years...first 2 rounds. Not too late. They used to change it every year when the old cba was in effect and teams would lose first picks and would gain supplemental 1st and 2nds for free agent signings.

I don't think people who play the Astros in game should be punished for the stupidity of the management in real life. I certainly hope my in game Astros don't have their first round picks stripped away. They never cheated.

I'd just like it to accurately recreate the unique challenge the real life Astros face. Give it one more touch of realism. still, I'm 100% positive this wont happen.

                          And wait, RedSox are next.

I see it more as an opportunity for MLB20 to reveal their new “Create a Manager” feature

the owner of the Astros said, he fired him because even if he had nothing to do with it, he never stopped it from happening.

True. I agree with his firing. He (and the GM) had to answer for this.
