It probably wouldn't flow from city to team name smoothly like the MLB/MiLB audio lines would, but it would at least be saying the name.

"Pilots" is one of those in the database btw. So is "Expos".
Yeah man never played DD, so I wasn't aware of that. Thank you for the info.

I hope all the franchise info that comes has some time spent addressing some legacy issues. Salaries, retirements, progression-regression, trade and free agent logic.

Those things work hand in hand with changes and if not addressed can cause more issues. Real salaries are nice except the system was never balanced for new contracts or arbitration.

Adding more minor leaguers could throw the budget system off if not balanced with more potential A prospects added to the mix. Needs a deeper draft pool as well.

I am holding out hope everything is more than simple name changing....that doesn't do much. And just adding another 15 roster spots.

Another amazing thing about uniform customization? SPECIALTY JERSEYS.

Im talking Memorial Day, Mothers/Fathers Day, 4th of July, Players Weekend... And you can add playoff patches, maybe London/Mexico Series patches, custom anniversary and ASG patches...

The options to increase immersion are endless.

But this is exactly why we need uploadable logos. If its just the in-game logo creator, that'll take a ton of time and probably wont be worth it for a lot of people. Also, if we create our own uniforms, do we lose the new Nike uniforms ala NBA2K?

Ideally, we get a logo uploading server website, a ton of new uniform options like pullovers, elastic waistband pants, more number styles (at the very least all the fonts used by current teams), and a option to put a logo on the chest, upper left/right breast (Nike logo), left/right sleeve, back left/right pants pocket (nike logo), front left/right hip (Cubs road pants), and left/right side cap panel. You should also be able to toggle the MLB and New Era logos on/off and for the New Era logo, change the color.

And if this is the case I personally will be 100% happy. As someone else mentioned it would be most ideal to be able to upload logos as opposed to having to spend so much time piecing together hundreds of elements to make the logo. But even still, this is great. Huge step in the right direction for franchise players.

Its not perfect, but they would probably just refer to the Team by the City. For ex. "Now taking the field for Seattle......."

Or maybe the will just have a pick from a pre sorted list of Names if you want audio. Which is what I think is more likely. I mean SDS has a way of adding base mechanics and THEN slowly building them up and fleshing them out. So I am not expecting everything to be release fully developed and featured right out of the box this year. But this is certainly intriguing and has sparked more interest than I previously had in this years game.

Exactly this! The longer they allow the legacy issues to persist, it doesn't matter what they add because in the end, it's just going to screw everything up. All the legacy issues that continue to plague the mode kills it for me, so it's hard to get hyped for anything else.

Throw in the fact that animations still look terrible, especially after I've played PYS, it's hard to get excited.

I'd settle for 1 or 2 generic MLB-caliber stadium(s) in rebranding and being able to rename the Nationals the Montreal Expos, or Tampa the San Antonio Alamos for example. if Single A is expanded from 15 players to 40 with High A playable and Low A a 15-man NPC like the current lone Single A, I would be more than satisfied; this would be an excellent start to the long overdue fleshing out of Franchise mode. I haven't been this excited for a video game since waiting for NCAA 14 to come out. big tip of the cap to the Studio

Says we can rebrand and relocate as well as full minor league rosters-hopefully the real players and not made up names. Relocate would be awesome

Without that, SDS would have to negotiate individually with minor league players - and I just don't see that as being feasible or possible.

So, for now I'm going to assume that it just means more roster spots on the lower end. I don't really expect more playable minors either, as it would only extend the "Road to the Show" which is already long enough for most of its playerbase (i.e. those who want to be in the majors in the first or second season, unrealistic as that is).

Others have stated probably a full 25 man A ball team instead of 10 to 15. We will find out In a few weeks I guess.

With Franchise Rebranding my two biggest ideas if moving the Rays/Marlins to a city with an actual fanbase and add some throwback jerseys or create our own idea of alternates to our current team, assuming you can just keep the city/name the same.

Curious about how the stadiums would work only because if for example in DD you create your logo but play at Petco Park, you have your DD team logos down the baselines, but still also have the Padres logo behind home plate. If you try rebranding and end up playing in current MLB stadiums that could really dampen the immersion.

As a DD player as well, the new mode is intriguing.

I’m moving the Marlins to Charlotte, NC

I would not expect the ability to create a stadium, but perhaps you could assign an existing stadium including historic ones like the Polo Field.

Something tells me that the "Full Minor League Rosters" are just that, full minor league rosters, and not expanded rosters. I hope im wrong, but i just have a feeling.

Also, I really hope bunting is improved and touched on in the hitting improvements live stream. As it is currently, bunting is useless. I have no problem with players with really low bunting ratings hitting rocket bunts, but pitchers should be able to put down a good sac bunt.
