Who’s everyone looking forward to using?

Me personally I can’t wait to use Deivi Garcia and Clarke Schmidt.

Does anyone else think that they need to work with TheMonkeyMan?

Have you seen the latest roster?....I don't see a single wrong player on any team. Players look solid and attributes seem spot on for the most part as well.

The creator deserves more credit than they get. Easily deserves closer to a 95% approval.

Tebow, IF I can get him out of the Mets organisation and on to the Rockies at reasonable cost.

Orioles - Ryan Mountcastle, though I had hoped he'd have caught on at third.

Here is how SDS are now able to have full minor league rosters on there game without having a lawsuit filed against them.

This year's edition of the MLB The Show video game will include all minor league players. We explain how that can happen without deals to pay the players.

MM rosters are superior than the other rosters available to download. He won't get the approval ratings high because of this board. It's a shame...dude does the best work out there by far.

That article is very long-winded in getting to a very short point that is being conveyed.

Which leads to more questions. When exactly was this put into place? Was it only recently or has the wording been like this for awhile now? Could games have been using minor leaguers in their products for years? Did Sony just realize this or did something change? Did OOTP baseball lead to this occurring? And probably most importantly, how long before the players demand compensation and start putting up a fight? This feels like it is on very shaky legal ground, moving forward and could impact future NCAA litigation and deals with student athletes in moving forward.

I think most minor leaguers will just be happy to be in a video game, though I'm sure there will eventually be a few who will want to force it into an issue and have special contracts drawn up with exemptions from the standard basic minor league contract.

I don’t think you can compare student athletes who don’t get paid to professional athletes. Besides I guess the NCAA players don’t sign a waiver like the minor league guys do.

They do sign a waiver. It allows the school and NCAA to use their image, footage, and even likeness for promotions and broadcasting, among other things.
