That first to home back to first double play was pretty sweet!
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Really excited for the improvements to outfield defense. Super hoping that the differences in defense between diamond, gold, bronze, and common fielders are more evident then ever.

The extended gameplay reveal trailer video said something along the lines of "no more hiding that poor fielding power hitter in left field anymore"!

This will be great news, and really make you think when building a squad for online play!

@countryboy Yeah, I'm trying to remember exactly what happens in the current game on that same play. It looked MUCH more urgent of a throw from first base, but I'm also wondering if the other side of that play was to show the first baseman hustling over to cover first base for the return throw from the catcher. Was this an instance of the pitcher would end up rushing over to first to cover instead of the first baseman (in the current game)?

I believe its possible in '19, but honestly I haven't attempted this type of double play in quite a while.

But I believe this was to show the new defensive mechanics/animations for first basemen and I do agree that seeing it in the trailer, it looked to have more urgency than what we have currently.

Really looking forward to the livestream on Thursday.

Still only one uniform template, saw buttons on the Cubs blue throwbacks.

Didn’t see any new tag animations. Same tired home plate slides and tags.

Can’t tell what’s different about the throw meter. Looks the same. Have to take their word and see what they say on Thursday about it.

Wondering how the control will be with the stutter steps and happy feet outfielders. Not a huge fan of more graphics on the screen during game play in that fielding icon. But will see how it all works out.

No new cameras. I hate how far back and high the cameras are after the ball has been put into play. I miss the low camera angle for fielding and post contact.

Hoping they’ve done something with pickoffs and leads from bases. That part of the game is ugly and old.

Button accuracy throw meter green zone is a bit smaller across the board. It's also harder to hit green every time bc the speed of the moving meter has been increased (both of these are dependent on the quality of the fielder).

‘‘I am not Robot Coach’’ lol

Ramone might have competition there from Robot Coach as community manager, especially if Robot plays as mean a second-base as Ramone

There is also a new perfect line indicator on the meter which I really like. The home plate throw indicate seems gimmicky, the mechanic throwing to basically any base urgently should be similar.

And please, what's up with this stupid robot in the videos? They thought this would be entertaining? Is SDS brass really this out of touch? We want to see gameplay. This robot is literally nothing more than filler.

Every year at this time I say it - Ramone Russell and the Show do the best job of any sports game when it comes to promoting their product.

I don’t wanna hear 700+ new animations because every year i see the same 10-20 animations.
