Which is, will we lose our jersey number if someone gets traded or called up to our team that has the same number?

I usually dabble in Road to The Show but if this year's game truly has full minor league rosters I'll just skip it altogether.
the part about relationships between a pitcher and a catcher sounded awesome to me. I wish it was something that could be applied to franchise.

Just the fact that we got 1 Jordan clear in makes me happy

One minute. Skipped the rest. It looks the same to me. The new fielding animations and hitting mechanics are nice, but Sony will have to show me more with their game, especially with what they have added and improved in franchise mode and March to October. $59.99US is a lot of money to spend on a game with updated rosters, minor league rosters and small improvements to gameplay and animations.

Don't hold your breath, it's the last year before next gen. It shouldn't be surprising to anyone paying attention that the focus so far has been completely on refinement.

In the video it appeared that the game deducted a vision point when Ramone took a pitch that was called a strike. In MLB 19 the game deducts vision points if you take a 3rd strike, but not every pitch. We should be allowed to take pitches with less than three strikes before the game penalizes us. I don't think it is a show stopper, but it does scream of "more gimmicky" this year.

Looks very much like Jordan is in. I looked up the retro 1's and it looks like them.

As someone that currently has 4 pitchers going in RTTS I found this somewhat exciting-"Developing New Pitches is Easier Than Ever
Whether it is learning a new pitch to add to your arsenal or changing that arsenal by replacing one pitch with another, Pitchers will now find ample opportunity to develop their unique tools of attack."

Why would full minor league rosters be considered a bad thing?

Not that excited for franchise but I am REALLY excited for RTTS. I love that you can affect relationships on-field, now it'll be a lot quicker to build up. Plus, attribute changes in real-time that show you in real-time, situations affect personality, real minor leaguers, etc.

RTTS will be serious fun this season and onwards.

I thought this when I saw it too. But then I got to thinking it's only a very small decrement and even so, ignoring a pitch down the middle? It might be the only good one in the AB.

This made me think there needs to be situations where you're following Manager directions such as steal, take a pitch or hit a sac fly or bunt.

I have a couple of questions that came to mind while watching this vid. Nobody here will be able to answer them but nevertheless:
                        1. Attribute gains (eg confidence) from a relationship - If I am 1B does my relationship with the 3B increase my confidence in plays with 2B, SS etc or just my plays with 3B? Answered in the stream - when a friend is not in the lineup you don't get their gains, so this implies that yes your gains from the 3B do affect your plays with other teammates.
                        2. Is a summary of relationship/rivals changes presented after a game or series, like attribute changes are? It didn't appear so in the clip.
                        3. Is it a correct assumption that relationships become rivalries when a player changes teams (and vice versa)?
                        4. Do relationships regress over time? eg if a player is traded to another team will your rivalry go down until you play them, or a bad play is made.

I'd also be keen to know whether "2% of the swings are perfect-perfect" means that it has been programmed that 2% of my swings will end up perfect-perfect based on the overall telemetry data from the beta, or is the telemetry data that has been recorded irrelevant to each of my individual swings (in other words, is there any predetermined bias in each outcome)?

I watched the perfect-perfect stream and this may have been answered but I can't remember.

Really hoping two things have been addressed that are long overdue: when playing in a series where you do not go back to the clubhouse after a game, the umpires will ump two games in a row behind the plate and then rotate to first base instead of them rotating from third to home after each game. And secondly, records to break have been actually looked at. Does anyone really still care about breaking Eric Gagne's consecutive save streak record? Adding records such as most grand slams in a career, breaking a team's record for most hits in a season, etc. would do a ton for RttS imo.
