Cool video. I already uploaded a couple logos for the jersey and ballcap.

Search "windmill" - windmill with the sun rising behind it. Name of the team Midwest Farmers.

There are more questions to be answered.

Can I do this - and full minors - with a carry over franchise?

One thing related to player happiness is location. Will the game recognize the location I choose or will I get the location of the franchise I edit? I'm fine either way but would like to know.

Lol, a huge thanks to all of those who have been asking for this so that we finally have it halfassed into the franchise mode instead of actual improvements that help me to replicate real life baseball. Improvements that are sorely needed just to keep up with real life happenings and rules, let alone other sports game’s franchise modes.

Feels a little unfair to peeps in the community to blame them for wanting a rebranding feature while also acting like they wouldn't want the franchise mode to be more realistic in terms of logic.

Perhaps refine this take a bit.

Agreed 100%.

Also, it's not as if this is something that would have taken some insane amount of time, prohibiting them from improving other areas. It's just an editor they already had, put in a different mode. If they had the appetite to improve the other parts of franchise, this isn't the thing that stopped them.

I dont understand how NCAA Baseball had full stadium customization, yet some 14 years later it still has not made it's way into MLBTS...

Others have mentioned it, but I'll also note that this will be infinitely more usable (at least for me) if they had options to

1) Add or modify uniforms for existing team.
2) Use existing team logos & fonts in the uniform creator for a expansion team (workaround for #1)
3) Be able to import logos via USB or online suite instead of having to create them in their editor.

Glad to see Generic stadiums "confirmed" that was the one thing I was hoping for.

Where did you see this “confirmation”? Not doubting, just curious and hoping it’s true we are getting some new stadiums.

I think it's probably an assets thing before anything else, honestly. Sure time and priority for sure play a part, but art assets are more expensive and unless they actually develop a solid creation suite for this, it would probably be time-intensive and expensive to make all the stuff for it. I understand why baseball create-a-stadium would happen last of all the major sports since the dimensions and stuff actually change place to place so it's not as straight forward to make a generic stadium creator as well.

I use manage mode. Aside from a couple minor things I can't think of any rules or real life happenings which aren't in the game.

Could you be specific?

You can create an existing team logo/font and if you check the vault you will see many. The art program in DD is easy and fun to use.

Search windmill in the logo vault and you will see what I created in about an hour - windmill with the sun rising behind it. Jerseys are easier with multiple fonts to choose from.

If I knew how to make a youtube video explaining it I would.

I have a question since I never played DD. With this rebranding thing, is there a workaround for relocation?

Will I be able to pick the Rays, update an Expos logo from the vault (there will be plenty I guess), switch the name for MTL Expos & play in a generic stadium?

If so, it's still not relocation but I'd be happy to start with that, That's the only thing that would make me drop my 4 year NYY franchise (I play every single pitch!) since I'm French Canadian

So at 1:05 you’ll see in the background a generic stadium where your home team stadium usually is. At 1:17 it says select your stadium and it has Tropicana in the background.

Could be a bit speculation hence the quotes for confirmed.

Cool feature but not sure Ill ever be using it, for now. All I personally wanted was to be able to upload logos to a server ala NBA 2K, so I can edit MLB teams' current logos for specialty uniforms, like Mothers/Fathers Day, Players Weekend, etc. Definitely not doing that now because that'll take FOREVER, and the quality wouldnt be good anyways.

Guess Ill stick to OOTP for franchise and The Show for a player career.
