What's telling you it's not going to be a possibility? The devs will have had the ps5 for 2 years to work with how can they not add additional roster slots as well as allowing for realignment which should be nothing more than moving names around.

I can see the amount of roster spots increasing sometime in the ps5 era, maybe as soon as next year but realignment (and expansion) could be something MLB wont allow so it may be out of Sony's hand. here's to hoping MLB is shedding its stodgy mindset

I transferred my players from 18 to 19 and could not use any of the 2019 legends that were offered. I loved the Babe Ruth that was offered in 19, So I recreated and upgraded 400 + players just to get Babe Ruth. Took me 9 months
I'm not going to continue doing this please don't put restrictions on roster builders. I hope I can just transfer my created legendary players from 19 to 20 and tap into all the goodies that are offered.

why did you recreate them, why didnt you export them from a franchise file into a roster file with the Ruth you wanted?

Tampa Bay Rays I’ll move them to Virginia for Atlanta Braves competition or to Orlando and change name to Orlando Brujos.

why did you recreate them, why didnt you export them from a franchise file into a roster file with the Ruth you wanted?

Honestly I had no idea you could do that take my franchise and put it into a roster?

This is copy and paste from what I wrote for someone last year. Hope it helps.

Start by continuing franchise from 18 under the franchise option in the main menu.

Save if desired so it stays there.

Once in the franchise go to cpu roster control.

It should bring up the list of all 30 teams.

Click on desired team then select manage roster/import player.

Once on the roster screen, hit X on a player to bring up options. One should be export player or pitcher.

Then save the player as necessary.

You can do max of 40 at a time.

Exit the franchise. Load up the roster file you want to import to.

Go to roster control.

Same screen as before will pop up with all teams.

Select desired team then desired player to be replaced. Hit X and select import player or pitcher. Load the desired player from your files.

Once all you have saved are done being imported, SAVE the roster first then rinse and repeat.

I came up with scenario earlier today when thinking about the game. Mind you, this is just imagination.

The state of baseball in 2020 is in shambles. Fans and GMs are mad at Rob Manfred for not punishing the Astros players from their 2017 WS cheating allegations. Rob Manfred has agreed to step down as commission for taking so much scrutiny.

Behold a new era in Baseball. With a new Commissioner in baseball, things will be changing. In 2021, the Astros franchise will be terminated and they will be relocated to Las Vegas (nickname and branding TBD). In addition to this, players from the 2017 season will be BANNED for 10 years starting in 2021 for having to do with part of the scandal. These players will be eliminated from the rosters.

Jose Altuve
Carlos Correa
George Springer
Yuli Gurriel
Josh Reddick
Marwin Gonzalez
Evan Gattis

Still on the fence about pitchers like Verlander, Morton, Kuechel, McCullers, McHugh, Giles, Devenski, Gregorson, Etc.

I feel like this storyline would create for an interesting franchise relocation and a turnover of the roster.

Edit: after thinking about it. I might make it for 2020. Take the players off the roster at the start and create a team and replace the Astros.

Yes. I had posted this about a year ago in relation to transferring to 19 but the premise is the same. Highly unlikely this is changed

Pretty decent chance that full roster imports are in 20. In one of the streams when starting a franchise you can start one with rosters loaded directly from 19. I would think this ability to import entire rosters isn’t exclusive to franchise.

I haven't seen anything credible Cole was involved. Fiers should at least get a 10 game suspension for not reporting it earlier, a la Buck Weaver

Does anyone know if we can rebrand/relocate multiple teams at the start of a franchise? I'd like to replace most of the league and create a fantasy one. I did this in Madden 09 and had a lot of fun doing so.
