Does anyone know if we can rebrand/relocate multiple teams at the start of a franchise? I'd like to replace most of the league and create a fantasy one. I did this in Madden 09 and had a lot of fun doing so.

Yes, from one of the streams it looks like you can do all 30 at the team selection screen for franchise.

Might be a stupid question, but just getting back to the show after a few years living Daddy Life has me a bit out of the loop. In 20, if you relocate a team in franchise and do a fantasy draft do you get the teams minor league system or do you draft minor leaguers as well?

I'm pretty sure in any fantasy draft you're drafting the entire roster.

Pretty decent chance that full roster imports are in 20. In one of the streams when starting a franchise you can start one with rosters loaded directly from 19. I would think this ability to import entire rosters isn’t exclusive to franchise.

One way to do that would be to start a new franchise in mlbts 19 with whatever roster you pick from the vault and then save it to the cloud and then carry it over to 20.

For some unknown reason they changed the vault for 19 and now it's difficult to figure out which roster is the "official" San Diego Studio weekly update. For me it was easier to find the correct roster in the previous version. That's one thing they could improve on - identifying the weekly live roster update in the vault.

Yea but now you don’t have to do that, you can directly carry over just a roster without having to go back to 19 and create an entire franchise file. I’m thinking this function is across the board, and it would be pretty disappointing if it’s just exclusive to franchise.

I'm sold on this concept! I will relocate the Rays to Charlotte and called them the Carolina Pilots and will try to create these uniforms and use the new Rangers ballpark.

Just two? Damn. Would have liked minimum three (home, away, alt.). But would have been giddy with 10 or more.

When we say “Rebrand a Team” in relation to the above ..do you mean we can edit uniforms..hats ect..say make the Miami Marlins the ..West Side Sharks but they remain Miami...unless we then change ball park and actually relocate them to a minor league park ect...

Yea you can completely re brand a team...Can give them new names, uniforms and hats and just keep them in same city and ballpark... Don't have to move them at all, unless you want to of course.

Teams don't actually exist anywhere, so they are wherever you imagine they are. What you can do is change the name, create 2 new uniforms and change the default stadium.
