If you play poorly then you're attendance will suffer which means less money in your budget to sign players. And the more money if you play well and increase attendance.
I can't be 100%, but I'm pretty sure it's not actually linked to attendance, that is more just the explanation given for why doing badly lowers your budget. The game simply doesn't have the financial system to make things like actual attendance matter.

Instead it's just "doing badly decreases you budget", then them explaining why that logic is in the game.

Baseball City is a good option too for Jerry Park but the palm trees just kill it for Montreal. LOL

Can we update stadiums for current teams? Like I'd like to move the Pirates back to Forbes, the Mets back to Shea, the Yankees back to Old Yankee II , and so on.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you just select the stadium before the game starts.

your ticket sales will most definitely rise if you are winning. your budget will also increase based on your revenue. if you try to play multiple seasons in franchise in a minor league stadium your budget will go down. easy-peasy lemon-squeezy, simple as that. Rebranding will be fine in 20 but if you relocate and dont play your home games in at least a 30,000 seat stadium you will have to be tight with your money when dishing out contracts.

If actual attendance is a factor in team revenue it rules out all of the minor league stadiums. That leaves the classic stadiums. As I posted previously the only stadiums without a different team identity prominently displayed on the field are Polo Grounds, Crosley and Griffith. Crosley and Griffith hold less than 30,000. All three have weird dimensions. Old Miami has no logo behind home plate or the on deck circle. Only a relatively small Marlins on the scoreboard and most importantly reasonable dimensions.

I was considering a minor league stadium or Date Palm spring training but if attendance directly relates to team revenue that is a bad idea.

For me by the process of elimination it is Old Miami. Which stadium would you choose?

I appreciate that reply. I'll try to find that developer stream and see if they elaborated. That was mlbts 18 correct?

You might have saved me from making a poor decision.

I honestly don't remember the actual stream, but I believe it was 18

EDIT: It may have been '17 when they added the new dynamic budget

I think Capital Field, Franco Park, and The Porch are the Minor League parks closest to MLB being quality stadiums. Especially considering that the Rays play in a stadium with only 25000 capacity in Tropicana Field.

I also think Turner Field would be somewhat usable for relocation, as long as the numerous Braves logos scattered around the park doesn’t bother you. (It bothers me).

the Trop holds slightly more, at over 31,000 and the biggest minor league stadium is Green Valley at 21,000. Griffith and Crosley are the two smallest classic parks at over 27,000 and 29,000 respectively. I dont know how long it takes Sony to build 1 generic major league caliber stadium but 20 should come with at very minimum 1 such stadium even if it has to be patched in IMO

I really like Forbes and if I were relocating (I'm not) that's where I'd play my new home games.

If you want the extreme in pitcher friendly that's the park. Get a bunch of fast guys with good contact.

I would have preferred a more recent version after they put the stands in right field and moved the fences in to more modern dimensions.

                          Extreme pitcher-friendly, yet never hosted a no-hitter.

OMG..never realized how huge is the outfield 360-462-376

Can be fun to build a team around that stadium. You’ll need really good & speedy outfielders and gaps hitters.

Just for fun, which team you think is the best fit right now ? Maybe a NL team or the Rays ? I would pay big bucks to have Kiermaier patrol my CF at Forbes

Rays outfield of Margot-Kiermaier-Renfroe probably the best in MLB defensively

I'm not going to use Forbes but if I did I go to Whitey Herzog's 80's Cardinals in that pitcher friendly ballpark and just get a lot of speed combined with line drive hitters and great defense.

A quick glance at 2019 stats indicated Texas had 3 players in the top 20 in stolen bases and 2 were outfielders. Washington had 2 in the top 10.
