I do think there is something fishy going on in “moments “, but in regular games I don’t believe in any comeback code. I do believe that we the user and the CPU sometimes fall into patterns pitching. For me it’s throw down and away the CPU adjusts. For the CPU i sometimes notice they will pitch hard soft in a pattern.

I try to avoid pitching in patterns as much as I can also but if there is one place I throw to more than any other, it's down & away. it's almost to the point I've considered throwing off-speed pitches high just to give the CPU a different look but I cant bring myself to pull the trigger lol I'm positive the CPU will punish me if I start pitching that way.


but yeah, low and away, I almost live there, if I had to say there is a place I go to more than any other. sometimes you just have to make sure the away is waaay away and not ''just a bit outside''

If somebody walks into a room and starts loudly talking about how the Earth is flat, and I pipe up to correct them, is that being defensive, or am I just doing my part to help prevent the spread of ignorance and mis-information?

Tell that to the CPU, it's me that can so easily come back on them!

Seriously this is the problem I have I always come back on the CPU rather then it comes back on me

I have proven this by controlling only the batting and swapping the controller for entire games and doing this for several games, I always find I come back from anywhere. I have a theory that it is also linked to being the home team I seem to get comebacks with the home team coming back from the dead by doing this theory swapping to the other team to bat every innings. I do this testing out sliders playing every single game on opening day so it is not a one off fluke either. There maybe some things that are predetermined who knows, but I have noticed if I am behind 4-0 in the 8th the CPU starts to do dumb things, errors out of nowhere, walking me and I start hitting and most times it's the home team coming back.

This is one of my hugest pet peeves. You say something, you get people who disagree, and you call them triggered. The internet is turning into a pile of **** if it hasn't already.

Someone had brought up in a previous thread that maybe the clutch rating was a possible culprit in the perception of a comeback code. Seems like an intriguing theory.

Personally, I don't have the time to change all players clutch ratings to find out, but I wonder if anyone else felt inclined to "lab" it?

Why is someone a fanboy if they don't think this exists? I have seen no evidence it does so I am a fanboy because I don't believe in it?
