Comeback Code sliders in The Show 20?

Any word if these sliders will finally be incorporated into the game this year? Would love to be able to adjust that way that down

I am sure that is a big no. I would be more worried about them addressing your forum name frequency by the CPU.

Considering that it wasn't mentioned in the gameplay stream, or any stream up until now, and the fact the devs have stated repeatedly that there is no comeback code in the game, I'm going to say that these sliders will not be incorporated into the game.

there are alternatives. maybe in the 7th-9th innings, try bumping up difficulty levels, or if you already play on Legend, turn Human Contact, Power and Timing Sliders down a click or two. do that in conjunction with raising CPU Control and Consistency a notch or two, you'll be back to losing in no time.

I don't see an inordinate number of comebacks in manage mode but I do see an inordinate number of balls which used to be hits down the line curve foul which has resulted in fewer hits and fewer runs.

Somebody with a foul ball fetish convinced the devs to introduce that into the game.

If somebody walks into a room and starts loudly talking about how the Earth is flat, and I pipe up to correct them, is that being defensive, or am I just doing my part to help prevent the spread of ignorance and mis-information?

I played every game of my cubs season last year, including 7 playoff games, and about 14 spring training games. I have to wholeheartedly disagree that there is any sort of comeback code written into the game. A hidden momentum type of ratings or moral booster maaayybee. But honestly the game was so fun for me to play last year because it felt really organic, and fair. And that is a hard thing for a sports game to do for me. People take it for granted how difficult it is to code these sports games, to do exactly that, feel organic and fair. Last years game was really good in that way, and I really never felt cheated, and If I was, well they fooled me.

plenty of spots are flat; you can put a spirit bubble-level on a basketball court and see that.

I play with Dynamic Difficulty on, and if there was a place to be ripe for comebacks, it would be there, whether by human or CPU, and I dont experience them any more or less than what I witness IRL MLB IMO FWIW AFAIK
