MLB the show on PC = my life over

I have spent the last 5 months modding NBA 2k to the point of it almost not being recognizable as the same game out of the box lol and MLB the show is my favourite yearly game so ya..it’d be a wrap for my personal life.

There's no guarantee that we see MLB on ANY new platforms next year (we only know that it will be able to happen - but no game announcements have been made and likely won't be until October/November if I had a guess). And as of right now, there's no guarantee we will ever see it on PC.

I get the potential (I played modded MVP 05 for YEARS on PC); but sports games on PC have never done as well as the the console versions.

Personally, I'm not going to torture myself thinking about what it could be when the likelihood it happens is so low.
It would be silly for them to make an announcement partnering with steam at this point. (Also distribution would never be the worrisome part)

The truth is, saying it’s not coming is invalid as saying it is lol. Let’s all hope it does.

The only reason I own a pc is because its pretty easy to add mods and modding makes sports games incredible. Like right now, I'm playing an NBA 2k game with a ESPN presentation package, a modded arena with improved lighting and real life ads and dornas and several players with modded faces and tats.

Its awesome. If I could do that for the Show, I would sell my ps4.

Can you direct me to the 2K Mods???

Go to nlsc.com. It’s called the nba live series center but it’s where all the 2k mods are.

It happens, but it is usually the result of a sloppy or rushed port.

That doesn't mean they've done badly either.

Given the choice of console or PC version of ANY game, it will be PC every time.

Re: Will MLB The Show on PC change the game forever?

Good god, if YOU and the other Madden MOD GODS get a chance to mod mlb the show on PC in a few years the game will become playable again. The only concern is that to me the gameplay of MLB the show is not an issue, its the lack of realism in the franchise mode. But in any case, having the ability to mod any sports games will increase sales for SDS as people download the PC version in addition to the xbox and PS.
For the past 3-4 years I have had faith in SDS putting out a awesome game (compared to no faith in EA) no matter the mode you play. But each year has been a total disappointment and '20 appears to be just another roster update with some tweaked features and modes that are already in the game.
A new hitting eye color or shape doesn't count either. The stream yesterday talked about "presentation updates", lol. Yeah ok, same zero energy commentary that 75% of the time doesn't fit the specific situation. One thing I'll give EA credit for is the dynamic commentary changing week to week. Does it change a lot, no but ill take it. AT least it sounds like they are talking to each other rather than the mlb the show commentary making random, dull reactions. Oh, and the big change for '20 was shortening the transitions after a play, lol.
