FYI, Huge Astros fan. Ah.... We all know we weren't the only ones cheating, we were just the best at it. And I feel the fan base has embraced the heel role. All of it goes away if we win, but it will only linger if we struggle out the gate.

With that being said, I'll be doing a Pirates rebuild. I admittedly didn't get to see much Pirates games last season. I know Bell had a great season and went and looked and he didn't 1 single MVP vote.
Pretty crazy to me. (Kevin Pillar received a vote, lol). Also they have a great stadium and looking at their prospects coming up, they fill holes I enjoy playing with it. I envision a lineup in a few seasons to look something like

SS - Oneil Cruz (21)
OF - Bryan Reynolds (24)
1B - Josh Bell (26)
OF - Gregory Polanco (27)
3B - Ke'Bryan Hayes (23)
2B - Kevin Newman (25)
OF - Travis Swaggerty (22)
C - Jacob Stallings (I guess, need to think more on someone)

I'll try to the young core and then build on that rotation (Archer, Musgrove, Keller). All realistic trades and signings, so no Trout or Kershaw or anyone like that coming to save the day. Gotta hit on these drafts.

I'm not sure yet, but going to go with a rebuild/reload rather than an already contending team. I'll have to (in this order):

1) check out full minors and see how each team's prospects look compared to how they are ranked in real life

2) Choose a team who has plenty of young talent that is already on 40 man or nearly MLB ready so I can be a contender in a couple seasons

3) edit Astros hitters to reduce their Discipline and Contact by 15-20 pts, and Vision and Power by 10-15 pts

I played with the universal DH last year and had a lot of fun with it. But I’m going back to real rules this year.

I'm not sure right now. Have always played with my hometown Twins, but now they are actually stacked in real life and that makes it less fun for me. Plus they don't fit my preferred small ball old school playing style. I absolutely love playing with Buxton, always a blast when ever he gets on the base paths. Any recommended middle of the pack teams that have a Buxton type speed demon gold glover?

I’m gonna start off with a quick manage franchise until I get the rosters and equipment how I like them. Then thinking about doing a 2020 Rockies franchise, offense only since I don’t like pitching, and playing every PA for the season. Will also probably do a few historical player locks, with my main ones being Bonds in 2001 going for the homerun record and Helton in 2000 to win him his rightful MVP.

Maybe Seattle with Mallex Smith? They are decent rebuild as well. Some good young talent and have never won a title.

I hope Scooter Gennett is available in the free agents list, I'd like to pick him up for the year at the minimum, get some playing time for Hanser Alberto at second , third and maybe even a little bit at short. I believe having Scooter cant hurt, might help
