Anyone getting server errors tonight? I can’t even play a game at any level.

I posted that I'm getting a server error in the bug thread. I just booted up the game for the first time and the message the server cannot be reached at this time comes up.

Playing my first game now. They are still called the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. They have been the Los Angeles Angels for years now. How in the world does SDS continue to miss this every single year?

Where can you see the wind direction and speed? I can’t find it in the pause menu any longer.

Sorry if this was already asked. But I use the API for the catcher to call my pitches. I also use the pre-cameras on high leverage situations. So when they do the pre-camera I get the choice of pitches on the bottom of the screen. But when I select it, I don't get the pitch location that the catcher wants. I tried pushing all the buttons but it doesn't come up. L1 lets me step off and restart. Is there something that I'm missing or do I just have to live with this or turn the pre-camera off?

In Franchise on 2019 on quick play, when I hit a home run or struck someone out, it would pop up with how many HRs on the year or how many Ks the SP has in the game.

I don't see it in 20 yet. Is this a setting I am missing? Or just not in 20?

Couple of questions: seems like in spring training it's possible to sub a person back in after they've been subbed out. Is this a bug or is this how it's supposed to be?

Also seems like stats are completely borked during a game. Had a guy come to the plate and the score bug showed him as having a .00 average while being 2 for 2 on the day. Is this true for the regular season as well?

I don’t use the API but do tend to throw what the catcher calls, so I have the same “issue” in high-leverage situations. Might not even be intentional but I see it more as a feature of the high-leverage cameras than a detriment. It’s basically saying “no help from the catcher in these situations.” Pretty hardcore, really.

Yes, known bug. Gotta be one of the first things they patch next. It’s brutal not having correct stats.

I see it when I pause the game, on the main pause screen.

Last year Babe Ruth wasn't open to play right field for the Yankees he was set up to be a pitcher only the way I got around that of course was putting The Babe in as pitcher for one batter and then switch positions with the right fielder and then the right Fielder would pitch to one matter and be replaced with your starting pitcher. Kind of goofy I hope they fix the Babe Ruth situation this year

In franchise with Babe Ruth, the two way player option follows the MLB new rules. I simmed ahead into June and saw his two way player activate. Not sure how it translates but just wanted to share. I know that once a game starts we can sub him in at dh or outfield but didn't see an option when outside of a game in roster mngmt. So if I want to sim, I don't think he will have much stats for hitting unfortunately

You can also go to the game log. It will have game time temperature and wind speed recorded in it.

And then you can be stunned at how freaking cold games in August are at any stadium North of San Diego like the rest of us.

Will Ridins roster this weekend fix the 30+ trades the computer makes in the first week of april in franchise? Or does that have to be fixed with a patch?
