Could’ve sworn somebody said you could choose your starting point on Dynamic Difficulty this year. Don’t see any option for this. Was dude making things up or what?
    Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

I don’t believe that applies to franchise.

It gives you the option when you turn the game on for the first time.

It does apply. As soon as you boot up the game for the first time, you get to set your Dynamic Difficulty and it can be used for all game modes.

Ok so let's say you choose a dynamic difficulty somewhere on the All Star difficulty like at it's highest level. You then lock in the setting by changing the slider all the way to the left so it won't change.
Can you 2 days later change to a similar scenario on say HOF?

I am not completely sure. I have never actually used dynamic difficulty before, so someone else might be better suited to answer the question.

I must have missed that part cuz it’s not in any of the options I could find.

Do you guys know how to set the dynamic difficulty to start off at Hall of Fame? I heard you can set the specific difficulty to start off with but can’t figure out how to do it

You have to do it in the beginning when the game starts up. I don’t know if there’s another way. If not you can just delete profile and it should ask you at start up again.

Plate vision plus the pitcher's K/9 affects strikeout totals while plate discipline and the pitcher's BB/9 affects walk totals when it comes to simming games.

Does anyone know how to throw cancel in this year's game? The last version I had was MLB 18: The Show, so did they just get rid of throw cancelling?

                            Thanks in advance!

Throw cancelling is still in the game. Make sure you turn the option on in gameplay settings because I believe it is defaulted to off.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

There are two ways to answer this question, and I need to know which one you're looking for.

If you want to be able to repeat your throw meter attempt (like, say it ended up yellow and you want a better result before you've fielded the ball) you can't do that in '20. You can queue up a throw to another base (with its own separate meter input), but you can't override it. This is part of the challenge they wanted to add to fielding this year - you get one chance to make a good input.

If you want the literal "throw canceling" mechanic that's been in the game, it's still in, though you need to change an option in gameplay settings. On whatever in-game profile you use, go to gameplay options in user settings, tab over to Fielding and turn Throw Canceling on. It should work the way you remember it. This action will usually cause the fielder to pump fake a throw, and at that point you're free to enter another throw input.
