I only play Franchise ..but within the “unlockables” I’ve been acquiring some neat HR calls and some animations,...but what the heck are icons and nameplates? They are useable in franchise but how what do they do how are they used ? No clue ..

Icons and nameplates are at the top right hand corner where your stub total and player level are. Unless you're super picky or whatever, they're not really a big deal.

Do you suppose it’s a bug how the full batter walk-up banner only shows like four or five times a game or is that how it’s supposed to be?

Correct

When you start a franchise it will ask what roster you want to use. Once you select it and begin franchise, that roster will be locked in for the duration of tgat franchise

Hello, sorry for interrupting - the forum wont let me post a new thread.
Can someone help me with MLB 12?
I bought this game many year ago, never played it.
Now my son want to play it.
But we cant seem to choose a player as us to play.
It only gives option of CPU vs CPU.
I tried pressing all the button on the Move controller but no success.
Using PS3 with Move controllers.
How can i change it to be able to play as a player and also, to play me against my son (if possible).

Are you sure the move is connected? Like the light is lit up and the camera thing is installed properly?

Not sure if I'm posting in the correct spot or not. But in on franchise mode as the pitcher and I'm having trouble throwing to first when I catch the ball. A meter shows up and I can't seem to understand how to accurately throw the ball to base.

In fielding settings, change to button controls, it's much easier for beginners. Use the O button to throw to first, the other buttons correspond to the other bases, triangle at top for second, square on left for third, X on bottom for home.

1. Do Interleague schedules rotate year after year? Or do you get the same Interleague opponents every season, as in years past?

Hi Everyone- I’m really enjoying the gameplay this year in MLB The Show 20!

Quick question about meter pitching- What is the strategy for pitching with regards to the power portion (yellow, red) at the top of the bar?

Is my goal to time my button press at the top of the red for every pitch type? Or should I try to hit top of the red for fastball pitches, and aim for maybe yellow on changeups/curveball/breaking pitches?

Before the patch I was getting a fair amount of injuries in games played. Post patch I have not seen an injury since. Played about 10 games. Is anyone else seeing that or is it an anomaly for me?

Does anyone have info on this? im about to start my franchise in spring and i have a injury question...i forgot...i have injuries set to "on" and i have it set to manual so i can injure people but im in spring training and it doesnt allow me to go in and set injuries...is this becuase its spring training and u cant get injured in spring? otherwise i thought i set the options properly. can someone clarify thanks guys

i'm new to this game and baseball, so i was wondering why starting players are being assigned to aaa teams? for example, before this recent patch aaron judge and lemahieu (i think, could be mistaken) were assigned to the railriders...

but now, severino and paxton (who were previously assigned to the mlb) have been moved to the railriders.

is it possible for me to play with all these players outside of franchise mode? like doing a roster edit and assigning them to the mlb? or is that not possible?
