On the last day of St are you bringing roster down to 26? If so, do you have 13 pitchers or less? If you do that and advance to regular season, shouldn't have an issue

Thank you for answering... So, I take it this means that I cannot just add any new Legend player (ex JRollins is from Headlines Set 2) unto an already created roster set. I would have to start a totally new roster set where Rollins is there from the beginning.

I remember before I could always have the option to start a new 'Default' roster set that included all the Legends. I do not see this option in the Options/Data Utility as before - where/how does one start another new 'Most Recent roster set' with the latest Legends (as they add them)?

If you mean the live rosters, they are under where the roster control is. Can't remember the menu but it's the second to last on the bottom row under options. Why it was moved there, I don't know.

I have been used to these 3 things while playing MLB The Show 2018-19, unless they are found in dif locals or perhaps dif set-ups need be applied, I no longer see them:

            1) Is the little defensive alignment box that shows up prior to ea batter no longer in the game? ex Depth: normal infiled: double play or 'cover drag' bunt, etc.

            2) Are there more that just the two theme choices 'The Show Theme' and 'MLB Network'? There used to be 3; MLB, Theme 1 and Theme 2.

            3) Can we still pause the game and 'fast play' the results like we used to ex see each player get a hit, BB, or out, (neon green descriptions) etc. it was a good finish if one had to leave from a game. It also took only a couple minutes to get thru 9 innings if one wanted to sim this way as well (like a fast forward thru a game).

Thanks in advance for your help at the forums!

Can't answer #1. Only two themes this year. Haven't really checked but I'm sure you can manually FF, don't know why they would take that out.

Thank you for the data... we'll see if anyone else knows about #1 and for #3 I have not been able to find, once I hit the 'options' button, the FF gameplay simulation - maybe it was moved?

Quick question about meter pitching- What is the strategy for pitching with regards to the power portion (yellow, red) at the top of the bar?

Is my goal to time my button press at the top of the red for every pitch type? Or should I try to hit top of the red for fastball pitches, and aim for maybe yellow on changeups/curveball/breaking pitches?

Thanks in advance for any tips and advice. Cheers!
I have used meter pitching for yrs. I used maxed out the meter when first tapping the"x" button trying throwing the fastest of fastball or nastiest of off speed pitches.

Two yrs ago I read somewhere on here or tip to never maxed out the meter. One, your pitcher's get tired faster. Two, all pitches were less controllable.

Every since then I tap "x" to start the meter, tap it again when hits yellow so slightly. It gives me more control of my desired target & true velocity.

                  I hope that helps..

Is it possible to turn the three batter rule on/off?

                      Thanks!

Probably not since it's an official baseball rule now.

Yeah I would assume not also... I haven’t bought the game yet and was just wondering if I carried over my franchise, which is in the year 2019 still, if I would have to adopt that rule even though irl it didn’t take effect till this year.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
