Quick question. Is there a way to edit your custom teams in Franchise? I’ve created like 12-13 teams and want to change some jerseys but I don’t see a way to just mod the teams and change jerseys....please don’t tell

Here’s a quick one too. How do you get your roster to load up automatically when you start the game??? Do I have to load it at menu every time because I do not want to use Sony’s rosters ever??? If I use some else’s roster I should be able to start the game with that and be ready to play is that right???

In play now you'll have to load up the roster you wish to use or you'll be using Sony's most up to date roster.

Did they take out the instant replays between pitches in an at-bat? I liked watching those. Haven’t seen one yet.

No they are still in there, at least on Broadcast presentation they are.

In play now you'll have to load up the roster you wish to use or you'll be using Sony's most up to date roster.

So then this won’t happen in franchise then because I haven’t started a franchise still waiting on a solid roster. Roster will load up once you select one to start a franchise right.

Sorry if this has already been discussed but I was wanting to know if there have been any behind the scenes improvements to franchise.

How is the AI trade and roster logic? How are the offseason signings? Has anyone done any simulation testing to see how season and career stats are and how team contract managment is long term? How is the progression/regression and do you get breakout performances or fall off a cliff years? Do you get a decent amount of varied injuries? Etc.

Really appreciate any feedback on this as it will go a long way in determining if I get this years game.

Correct

When you start a franchise it will ask what roster you want to use. Once you select it and begin franchise, that roster will be locked in for the duration of tgat franchise

Very little changes have occurred with franchise. I think there a few more trades and bigger names traded, but you have to turn budgets off still to see less "issues. "

Free agent signings seem worst. I think they underpay considerably. Top closers make between 5-9 million. Most free agents make less than they did in arbitration. Top players get payed.

Teams sign players and although contracts are guaranteed they send them down to minors and the players will retire and forfeit their salary.

Progression/regression is really dependent on the roster you use as well as retirements.

I like there is more injuries in played games than last year.

There is a thread with franchise 20 issues and workarounds.

When you bring a RP in in Franchise it shows you their pitch breakdown instead of their season stats! Or this just something that happens early in the season?

Hi all -

I'm buying The Show tomorrow, and I'm excited to start a franchise.

Here is what I'm hoping to do, and I want to make sure I get everything right:

1. download mkharsh33's roster (a refined version of Ridin's recent update)

2. Re-locate the Rays to Montreal, and rebirth the Expos. (Question here: is there a way to download Expos uni's from the vault - or will I have to pour 1+ hour(s) into this myself?)

3. Start a franchise where I can adjust lineups/rotations for all 30 teams, but mostly just focus on the Expos and play every game. To achieve this, would I toggle Team Roster Control off, but then add my userprofile to every team? Or would I just choose the Rays as my team, then turn on CPU roster control? This always confuses the bejeezus out of me and I have to re-research it every year. (multiple concussions may be affecting my memory)

4. At some point - probably not in the first year - I'd like to relocate a franchise to Portland. I already have a color scheme in mind (brown + green with home pinstripes)... is that possible during any offseason? Or just at the very start of the franchise?

5. I want to savor each game and all the presentation elements - and try with all my might not to fast-forward with 'X'. Are there any options that are not turned on by default, that will aid with this immersion?


I know that's a lot to cover. Any help or info is greatly appreciated.

2. There is no jersey vault so you have to create the jersey yourself. I tried looking for the exact creation with images online/this forum for myself, but no luck.

3. Create 2 profiles. One is User, One is CPU. When picking your team, make the team you to be the User Profile, and make all other teams the CPU profile.

4. I am pretty sure you can only relocate at the beginning of franchise.

Does anyone know if there is a glitch to this years game as to why the Vines at Wrigley Field are fully grown in April? In past installments this was one of my favorite "little things" as the vines would change throughout April and May. But in MLB The Show 20 when I played the opening home stand vs PIT, they were fully grown like it was summer.
