I believe it’s a new rule for baseball this year which is why it has changed.

OK, that makes sense now and I saw the new rule online. I was just confused by statement that I originally read as previously being able to expand to 28, but now I see the poster wasn't actually indicating previous versions of the game limited september expansions to only 28.

Yea haha that was my bad, I should have specified that.. so yes, starting this year (2020) UP TO 28 players during September call ups.

Its listed in the boxscore under the stats tab of the pause menu

Some scoreboards in stadiums have it listed right after errors

I cannot find that stat anywhere in the game. SMH!

In Diamond Dynasty, how do I select my default Stadium? In years past, I was able to set up my home stadium but I can't find it anywhere in this years game. Did they remove it or am I just missing it?

It is in each game log of the game you play.

It’s not a big deal but I’m curious. Has anybody seen the little dugout dances they showed off in the launch videos? I’m 25 games into my franchise plus so many conquest games and spring training games and I haven’t seen any yet.

I’m playing with full broadcast. Is this just a MTO thing like the new trade hub?

QQ - If you’re using broadcast view while pitching, are you guys selecting the pitch suggested by the catcher or going based on situational pitching? Figured it’s user preference but just trying to get opinions.. Thank you in advance!

I do use the broadcast pitching view. I go on my strengths. For example you got a batter in 1-2 count & the "API" calls for a high fastball. Now if its Folty who has a 97mph 4FSB it is great suggestion, but if its Teheran who has a 90mph 4FSB I go low in the zone.

1. Do cpu controlled teams hire/fire coaches?
2. Do coaches increase/decrease attributes the same way players do?

i dont know if this is the right place to ask... i am strictly a franchise mode player and also play OOTP, i know about the fielding issues and baserunning issues i do not have the game as of yet. just wanted to know in your honest opinion is it worth it to buy?

Depends on how much your actually wanting to play the games versus just simming.

MLB The Show will come no where close to offering the immersion in franchise mode that OOTP offers. It will be a skeleton in comparison.

But on the field, actually playing the game, MLB '20 is very good. I've read about and seen videos of the fielding issues, but since the latest patch, knock on wood, I haven't experienced the issues that others have. Not sure why, but I haven't. I'm not sure what the baserunning issues are, but I personally don't have an issue with baserunning using manual baserunning. I'm not sure if its tied to auto baserunning or not.

Anyways, if you're wanting to actually play out games and are ok with the fact that the franchise mode in the show will not be remotely close in depth as OOTP, then yes I would recommend buying the game.

Seconded. Franchise mode still has its warts but gameplay wise this is the best Show yet.

1. They Hire new managers and coaches at contract end. In all the years I have playing the show i’ve never seen cpu controlled teams fire a manager or coach mid season.

2. Never noticed, but I don’t think so.
