If I have directional hitting on, with nothing on the screen...what exactly is my aim to be doing while hitting besides timing the ball? Do I push the stick in the directions I see the ball coming? Push it up or down to influence groudners or pop flys? Ive played so many games like this not knowing if im doign something for nothing and should only be timing the ball

Right now I have a RTTS file and a Franchise file, but I'm having an issue keeping the settings with each file.

For my RTTS, i'm at HOF; my Franchise I'm at Legend. But if I start in my RTTS, save and then exit, once I start my Franchise file, my difficulty sets to HOF.

This also happens if I start with Franchise first then go into RTTS.

Custom Camera question. I went into practice mode and setup my custom batting camera, I saved it, set it to default in options, but everytime I start my DD and play offline like Conquest, it always resets camera to Show 16. I cannot figure out how to save the Custom 1 when I play DD.

Unfortunately you can’t use a custom batting camera in DD.

I'm not really an online head to head player, but I know in conquest etc I can go into game play options and select custom 1. That may be just what I'll have to do for that mode.

Critical Situations question.

In a 30-team control franchise, is there a way to run an MLB Tonight-style thing? In other words, can I get brief look-ins to whatever games on that particular day trigger a critical situation?

As far as I can tell, the moments only trigger when you sim a whole/week/month year and ONLY for the team whose calendar you are currently on.

Save files should be easily transferred between PS4 and PS5.

Unlike the PS3 to PS4 transition, which had a vastly different OS and hardware architecture, the PS4 and PS5 have a similar OS and hardware architecture.

This generation for both consoles will work more like a PC upgrade then an entirely new machine. Odds are very good that PS4 titles will run natively on PS5, or with only minor support.

Does anyone know if revenues in franchise sometimes decrease even if you’re a highly successful team? Ever since I activated three diamond sponsorships my revenues have gone down and the revenue sharing penalty has gone up. I can’t make sense of it. Is it a bug? Also, how could I possibly have negative cash flows, but still have a bank that continues to grow? I feel like something is totally off here.

Does anyone know why I get the "error: you cant create any more players" message? I don't think I've even created that many players. Still, I deleted a few, as well as a bunch of files I don't use, but it didn't help. Any way to fix this??

Yes, revenues can decrease even if you're highly successful. However, what you're describing does sound like a bug.

How are wins and losses for pitchers determined? Sometimes a random relief pitcher who pitched a single inning will pick up the loss in a game.

a starter has to pitch at least 5 innings but a reliever only has to have his team take the lead for good whilst he is the pitcher of record. I dont know how the Show handles it but there are rare instances where the official scorer gives the win to a different pitcher if the reliever in line with the win was brief and ineffective

So if my starter pitches for at least 5 innings, he will he credited with either the win or loss, regardless?
