Are you on the same season you started on mlb 20? Just trying to remove variables. Like I said the first season this year I had to move slider down because of all the long term injuries.

Season 2 nothing....45 games in.

Did they add new retro uniforms in 20. I saw the Show for 40 bucks at Walmart and I'm considering picking it up.

Been playing with alot of retro rosters. So I was curious how many new uniforms they've added. Thanks.

Someone in the trade thread posted this, for example: ‘ Finally, I had to use a deal similar to the Machado and Betts deals for the Dodgers which would return a headliner prospect in the 30-50 range, a 2nd prospect in the 70-100 range, and a lotto ticket’

Probably referring to a high risk, medium reward prospect, like a 24 yo with a B potential and 59 Overall. Still has a chance to be really good, but not likely.

I swear I don't understand how other players manage it. My 3B just broke his ankle rounding first on a clear double in a played game. That's a huge blow to my team heading into the playoffs.

Can I share some of my injuries with you?

Just saw my CPU 3B pull an ab muscle in my pitcher RTTS. Default injury slider.

Nothing special about this RTTS either - it was started a couple days ago, obviously on this patch.

Lol I had tons my first season. Lost Sanchez, DJ, and Cole heading into playoffs. Lost guys throughout whole season for extended times. This second season is so odd. Makes me not want to play because no need to utilize depth.

OK so here is what is happening to me. As you can see injuries are on. I'm 46 games in. Cpu(Sox as example pic) have injuries. I have had one minor league injury and my injury slider is up.

Hmm....are your settings file association profile and the profile you showed in that screenshot one and the same? I know you've played this game for years and you're aware of how the profile stuff works, but it's the only possibility that comes to mind. It is pretty weird that your whole system isn't getting injuries - that would go beyond the in-game lack of injuries.

As a test, have you tried simming ahead in the season to see what happens regarding injuries?

Yea. Same file association. Sim produces injuries. Like I said I'm trying to rule out variables and hard since I started year 2 same time a patch dropped. Really frustrating me. I'm at the point of walking away. Part of franchise that is compelling is persevering through injuries, bringing guys up or making trades.

What about uninstalling the patch (deleting game data from hard drive) and going back to out of box settings to see if you are able to then get in game injuries? Or possibly uninstalling then re-installing to see if that works??

I honestly am out of ideas since the CPU/simmed games are producing injuries and you had injuries in year 1 but not year 2.

Alright. Reason I asked is because I inadvertently created a similar situation earlier this year where only my team wasn't getting injuries in games OR sims. And it turned out that I had the Injuries setting in Gameplay Options>General>Advanced turned off in my main offline profile (probably from running some sim tests where I didn't want injuries affecting the outcome). And I was surprised that it only turned them off for my team and not the whole league - it seems only the slider can control the whole league.

Really at a loss as to what the issue might be for you.

I have a digital version. I'm really at a loss. I may try an few things today. Turning injuries to manual then back, turning injuries off then on, new profile, injury slider different settings...


Edit: I've tried everything. Played 10 games no injuries. Thinking back to this 2nd season I don't remember a couple cpu injury while playing either.

What's up with rtts infielding this year? The game doesnt seem to have the shift indicators this year or give you enough time to even move around pre-pitch.

Anytime a double play or steal is in order, I cant even get to double play depth before the pitch is thrown. And if a runner steals I cant even get close to the bag, because im forced to field so far out.
