It’s a bug. Nothing you can do unfortunately.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: MLB The Show 20 Q&A Thread

Finally moved my 4 RTTS pitchers over from 19 to 20.The most annoying thing I find is I don't usually see the play at first base.
For example let's say I'm pitching. The batter hits the ball to the shortstop. The shortstop throws the ball to first. The runner is out.I NEVER SEE THE PLAY AT FIRST.The view camera always stays straight and doesn't follow the path of the ball.If I want to see how close the play was I have to go to replay.
I've tried to replicate my 19 settings to no avail.I find it hard to believe that the default settings of 20 would result in this mess.Plus I've seen no complaints from anyone else so it must be my error.
Any help?Or at least confirmation you do or don't see this issue?

New to the series; can you edit the name of the general manager who you’re playing as in franchise mode?

To my knowledge, no. I'm not even sure you have a name.

lol correct, your assistant g.m. doesn't even warrant a name, just Assistant G.M.

Is there still no training sessions during spring "training" in RTTS mode in 20? SCEA has me legitimately annoyed every spring that the very focus of what spring training is supposed to be about (getting to know new teammates and ramping up for the season) is totally nonexistent in 19, from all signs its still the case for 20, but just want to confirm. Spring training in RTTS may as well be "summer camp" we had IRL this year.

I'm actually still playing 19 but I'm sure the answer is the same. Playing offline exclusively. How do you view the opposing batters spray charts in game? Or your own for that matter? Does it just apply to Franchise or any mode?

I know there is a way post-game, and I'm pretty sure there is a way mid-game, but I'd have to turn on the game to figure it out. If you root around in the menus you'll find it.

But yeah I'm 100% sure you can find spray charts in the post-game menu. You can check out individual batters, filter by results only (ie all hits, strikeouts, etc), by pitcher, by team, the works. There is a limit to how much it can show, so it won't show 100% if you select no fillers, but it's a very in depth and powerful tool.

Go to the defensive shift menu by pressing down on the d-pad and you'll find it in game.

For some reason I was thinking about pitch breakdowns. Wow, my brain is really not working sometimes.

                                Hey Guys!

I have a situation with one of my pitchers, Heath Hembree to be specific. The thing is that every time I bring him in, usually late innings, his confidence level is really low and never goes up, It goes down after every pitch. But here’s the kicker, He’s dominating every time out, so I don’t understand what’s going on.

What do you guys think is the problem here?, this is only happening with him...
