I think they might be a little too good on defense, I know they want to cut down on pitchers getting hit but imo the pitchers defense could be toned a little.

Agree completely. Most of the time it should go through the box untouched.

Matt Vasgersian just did a Bob Uecker commemorative homer call. Made me smile.

"Get up, get outta here, gone!"

I noticed that the Heidy Watney reports they changed the microphone to show San Diego Studio instead of the MLB network logo on the microphone she is holding for The Show theme. This is attention to detail right there.

Cool pre-pitch camera view that captured the SS doing what he does best

I am very happy that they added real minor leaguers to the game rosters. I just wished they had added the cooresponding voice files to the database for use with other players

Yeah...looks awesome in Pittsburgh too. When I started an overcast night game, you could barely see the buildings in background due to the fog. As it got darker the on field lights got brighter as did the building lights. It was really nice transition. Just wish they could fix the darn HR counter...

I am still blown away by how great the on field night lighting is.

Runner on 1st base and hitter hits ball thru the box into CF. Runner rounds 2nd base and takes a few steps, looks up and sees the 3rd base coach hold sign (had to watch replay to see why he stopped) and then back peddled to 2nd base. First time ever saw him back peddle or look up for a sign rounding base.

The stats that pop up during franchise are so welcomed. Bringing more stats to the forefront was sorely needed and they have taken a step in that direction.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Now if only Heidi didn't ruin the rhythm of the game...

I’ve heard some of the Latin players come up to rancheras walk up music. Nice.

Legend MTO (which means it's default sliders). Love seeing imperfect fielding from the CPU. Spectacularly bad initial read by Reynolds causes him to fall behind the play and have to make a futile Edmonds-style attempt. The replay shows his initial movements better than the live play.

I hadn't played The Show in three years, so some of all of these might have been in the game before, but I enjoyed seeing them:

-- A Dodgers batter (can't recall who) struck out for the third time in the game, raised his bat over his head with both hands and tossed it toward the dugout.
-- I know this has been in the game but I still like how the shadows gradually change. Playing at Guaranteed Rate Field with the White Sox, a shadow completely covered the mound in the bottom of the 10th when Kenley Jansen came in to protect a 3-2 lead, making it tougher to pick up his blazing fastball.
-- Saw this at PNC Park before and then at Tropicana Field, end of inning, camera pans over the top of the dugout from close up and you see the cracks and imperfection in the cement.
-- Throwback unis have their corresponding helmets. From what I recall, some, maybe all, in the past used their current helmets while wearing throwbacks.
-- Managers wearing jackets that correspond to the throwback or alternate uniforms their team is wearing, not their regular uniform.
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

"What? You can't challenge a scoring play?''

In past installments this was one of my favorite "little things" as the vines would change throughout April and May. But in MLB The Show 20 when I played the opening home stand vs PIT, they were fully grown like it was summer.

Just for the record- the glitch concerning the vines at Wrigley Field has been fixed .
