Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
I have been to San Diego. Have never seen a plane landing from Petco or the Gaslamp Quarter. I get what they were going for with how planes fly low over I-5, but think it’s a tad exaggerated in the game for what you’d see sitting inside of Petco Park.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
I'm playing a franchise with the Phillies and noticed when I was playing in Citi Field against the Mets and noticed the planes taking off in the background. Didn't notice it before. I know the ballpark is near either JFK or LaGuardia and remembered in All Star Baseball whenever you played the Mets at Shea, you can hear and see the planes landing and taking off, so I was like that's cool that it's in the Show.Comment

Look at this weird bounce off an easy ground ball, went right off the bottom of the pitcher's cleat. I have never seen this before and thought it was worthy of including in this thread. Thankfully runner made it safely otherwise I would have thrown my controller in the past because of that. Thanks for viewing

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
Last night I played a game at Target field in Minnesota. It was an April 7:30 pm game with clear weather conditions.
In the first half inning the 'hitters eye', which consists of evergreen growth, had bright sunlight shining on it which made it almost impossible to pick up the ball as a hitter. After that the sun moved and you could see well.

Hit three homers with Rougned Odor at Miami -- I think the third three-HR game I've had with a player in several years of playing the Show. His third homer banged off some sort of concrete poll in right field (might be the base of the foul pole, can't recall) and as soon as it happened, Vasgersian mentioned it bounced off that structure. It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
I’ve never seen this before.
Playing against the Yankees and Glyber Torres hits a blooper out to right field. Biggio run out to get it while Grichuk is running in to make the catch.
Easy out right?
No. Grichuk stops short to avoid a collision and the ball falls in between them. I’ve never seen this animation before.
Ended up being a triple as the ball rolled all the way to the wall.

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
A new one for me. CPU runner on 2nd. Line drive single to my CF, throw is up the line toward 3rd a bit. Runner slides head first as catcher dives to try to make the tag. Runner at first continues on to 2nd, catcher gets up to nail him. Game really does play great.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
I've been impressed with the variety of color commentator comments, especially context-specific comments in seemingly rare situations.
I had one from I think Dan Plesac earlier: "You don't see that much these days, a guy who's willing to work east-west with a good cutter/two-seamer combo."
There's still the phrases that are repeated often, but I've encountered several like that in franchise that made it feel a lot closer to real life.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 - The Little Things
Today, played a game and Eduardo Rodriguez was on the mound and his fastball topped out at 93mph. He was easily 96mph last game, so super cool that even though it was a July game, he just didn’t have his best stuff.
Totally backs up my “Variable Stuff” argument with regards to, well, variable stuff.

Mike Vickers (Bacons Rosters) hit his 300th HR at my home field and he was jumping and pumping his fist rounding the bases. All of his teammates were at home waiting till he crossed the plate. After, he came out of the dugout and waved to the visiting crowd as they cheered. He pounded his chest out of respect, pretty cool.If your a fan of jerseys and uniforms in sports,
