MOM....this one really sucks. Game tied, bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, no outs, infield drawn in....sharp ground ball to 3rd......Does he throw home? Nope tries the 5-4-3 double play.....game over. This will happen EVERY TIME! I don’t recall this in last years game.

Why does every line drive to third or short that the fielder dives for bounce out of their glove for an infield hit? Anyone else have this issue on every play that has the fielder diving for the ball? It's getting old that every game I'm giving up multiple infield hits on plays that should be made. I can understand it happening occasionally but I'm seeing it every diving line drive to short and third especially third

I sent in a bug report for auto base running. It actually feels worse (I know that is not true) since the latest patch was deployed this morning.

Iam currently having difficulty with the pitching screen as it’s un-viewable. All you can see is pitch selection and meter. Everything else has no graphics. It happens every few games? I tried to change camera and even the camera editor is the same way. It jumps back to normal play after a hit or cut scene, but goes right back when pitching camera comes back up.

Anyone else having this issue?

I keep having runners try to score from second or third on play’s they have no reason to try to even advance? I have assist base running on , not auto,so it makes even less sense ? Also I keep having my outfielders diving for balls that are routine fly balls! The ball goes sailing over their heads and is almost always a triple?

Outfielders jump or dive on a fly ball or line drive is annoying it cost me a few games already ! Anybody knows a work around ?

How I play it is pressing the R1 for instances where I need to Jump and the Right Stick Down when I need to Dive or Slide.
It works for me, hopefully it does for you.

I am really surprised it is Oct and RTTS players still don't participate in shifts....seems like something that should have been fixed asap....

When playing the 45min game option and you go to Quick Manage at any point, it erases all the stats for that game.

Only works if you play "some" defensive plays. If your setting is to play All plays your fielder is involved in, you have to move manually. And there's not nearly enough time to move into position.

I actually don't mind requiring me to move manually into the correct positioning, but give us a few moments to make the adjustment. At best I have enough time to take 3-4 steps in the direction of the adjusted position. And that's if I pause before every defensive play, check the pause screen for the required shift, start moving the stick to the new position, and then unpause. Even then it doesn't get me even close to the desired positioning.

When playing with the Rays in franchise and using any other park as their home park the weather is always the same. Clear and no wind.

After each game in a recent franchise that I have started, the daily recap of games commentary includes an announcement that x-player has broken the record for hits, stolen bases, RBI's, etc. It occurs after the score of each game is announced. I'm currently at April 2nd in this new franchise, and it has happened each calendar date.

The irony is that I don't play my games with the in-game commentary on, but I have enjoyed the recap commentary as an additional layer of immersion in franchise.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a fix, or is it permanently embedded in that franchise file? In my prior franchises, this has not happened, so I'm curious as to why this is taking place now.

If there isn't a solution outside of scrapping this franchise file, does anyone know if there are any other underlying issues around this glitch? I don't want to get too far down the road if so. If it is purely an aesthetic glitch, I might be apt to ignore it, or leave the commentary off altogether.

I'm having the same issue. I'm about 20 games into the season and it's still doing it after every single game. I sent in a bug report, but I doubt it's of any priority. I also tried creating a few franchises with various rosters and it does it with all of them.

Perfect perfect sound glitch on PS5. This was an issue early on on PS4 but restarting the console would fix it. Doesn't seem to be the case on PS5.
